The reason for returning home during Christmas cannot be over emphasized. It just to return for the Christmas season. Running away from the cold and winter in Europe and America, eating every month, and enjoying some African culture and pleasure. Homemcan be beautiful

I am a Nigeria-german citizen but have been living in europe for 38 years. My take in this discussion is that people like us have the possibiluties of coming to enjoy of pension money in Nigeria and enjoying our old life to the fullest without much struggle. I was in Nigeria last month.

So you spent all your young life in Germany. When your strength fails you , old and frail, you will return so that we can suffer and look after you . E go shock you.

Nigeria's Thanksgiving Service culture is different and has nothing to do with that of America.

These types of moves are really temporary. Most Nigerians are very resilient people. Most Nigerians that I know here in America are professionals. None really stick to any cleaning or security jobs for long: these jobs are taken mostly when the new immigrant is trying to settle into the new environment. But not for long: there are better opportunities here and my people definitely know how to take advantage of that. Let’s tell the truth, Nigerian does not have much to offer. Just my two cents.

The reverse of "Japa" is "Jawa" in Yoruba language!

Technically, it's a slang and not a proper yoruba word. More of a yoruba slang.

What are u talking about about? Those interviewed in this video didn't come for Detty December, they relocated to Nigeria before now okay. People come back and become even bigger, the list is long. Dbanj, Don Jazzy, Davido, Naeto C, Banky W, Onyeka Onwenu, Wole Soyinka, and many others moved back to Nigeria after living abroad
