The question is whether she really is psychotic or uses the reputation as a way to limit what she's expected to handle. I've started to get the impression that all of the Harbingers have plans to disappear (Signora may have even employed hers - in retrospect she had too much forewarning and too little reason to still be where we found her for those events not to be suspicious, and as usual we never ask archons enough of the right questions at the time) and things they aren't interested in doing for "the cause". Somebody who genuinely can't control themselves or consider the consequences of their actions before the acts themselves will eventually be a liability even to themselves. It is very hard to think quickly enough to give the impression you aren't thinking at all, but it's certainly plausible that she employs scripted tantrums and a lot of threat displays. But she could also have a Delusion covering for innate weaknesses. We'll see.

Take breaks as needed, for someone like me who has been playing since almost the release I can say I'm getting worn out and lazy sometimes but Fontaine has been a wonderful experience. Sucrose and Lynette can do similar jobs but they also provide different benefits to the team. With the Viridecent Venerer artifact set, both are great choices for swirling elements around and shredding resistances. However, Sucrose is naturally a better grouper than Lynette and provides bonuses to Elemental Mastery where as Lynette's grouping is weaker (this can be made a bit better with constellations but Sucrose does it better right out of the box) but provides massive Attack bonuses to your party that Sucrose doesn't. Both are amazing anemo support units and can be used to great effect. I'm using Lynette as Lyney's anemo support. She's great at keeping enemies affected by pyro which Lyney loves and since he doesn't care about EM, Lynette's Attack bonuses are very much welcomed.

nothing wrong with taking a break if you need one! it's better than trying to force yourself to keep playing when you wouldn't be able to fully enjoy it. i don't know/remember where you stopped in sumeru after the world quests, but there's quite a bit to catch up on! not everything is really necessary to do BEFORE fontaine, but if you haven't done the desert world quests, highly recommend at least those as they're all HUGE lore bombs. apart from that & the main story, there's new story quests & hangouts that at least in my opinion, are some of the best ones we've gotten in the whole game so far. glad to have you back!

Yo, it's completely OK to take a break, even though im ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED to genshin, i had to take a break during Sumeru, if a game feels like more of a chore or like work then that is the perfect signal to stop and take a break, the point of games is to entertain you and have fun, if you don't feel like you're having fun then take a break

People don't realize that Genshin burnout is primarily from a lack of breaks. The game is casual after all. Also Lyney is stupidly fun to play since his entire kit is stacked with damage. You can instantly cancel his burst using his skill and even his normal attacks hit for a decent amount as long as the enemy has pyro applied to them

player since 1.1, I also took a break during probably the whole of Sumeru arc, half due to burnout and half due to problems in my irl draining me out. this might sound kind of cheesy and cringe but really, Genshin has a very special meaning to me, its what got me through the pandemic, like a companion or a means of escapism whenever I felt too overwhelmed with real life and I can’t believe its been 3 years. the music, the characters, the gorgeous landscapes it brings and feelings of an idyllic world it provokes… you guys probably have felt this certain way when you first start playing-everything seems so magical and wondrous you can’t get enough of it. so when I felt like I lost these feelings and excitement for this game, I did feel kind of bummed. and it is a beautiful and refreshing feeling to find all these back. that all said-I have returned to Genshin with the Fontaine update and it was the same excitement and pure awe all over again. taking a break really allowed me to appreciate what a beautiful game this is. the archon quests surely did not disappoint and even exceeded all of my expectations. so, I wanna say it’s good to be back!

While Kamera tech has apparently been rediscovered multiple times in visible history, the current iteration did indeed come from Fontaine. They're also apparently the home of rock as a musical genre, though I haven't seen evidence of that yet.

Hey, as a heads up, I don't know if you ever did the final sub-region of Sumeru's World Quest or not, but its story sort of bridges Sumeru and Fontaine and also provides some other juicy tidbits about...other things, that I won't spoil. :P Even if you don't do it before Fontaine's Archon Quest, I would say try not to completely skip that most recent WQ. It starts by the southmost teleporter in that subregion.

I play every day because I TRULY want to and because the game has captured my heart and I want to see everything there is to see! I've never felt burnout or any kind of distance from Genshin since day one and it likely won't ever change.

People can enjoy a game anyway they want. At my current age I can definitely miss out on things and not feel bad at all but I think that’s because I’m older and video games aren’t necessarily high on my priority list. I had someone scold me for taking a break not too long ago and I actually laughed out loud. People really get personally offended that you don’t play/love a game the same way they do. I can respect people wanting to take time off if it isn't feeling as fun or if they have other priorities of course, everyone should just do their thing. For me though, it's an important enough game in my life that I'm always going to make time for the updates every 6 weeks and I don't ever feel burned out because I'm passionate but also because I have other games to play between Genshin as well. I am sorry that people scolded you for not being constantly tuned into everything going on, they shouldn't be dictating how someone enjoys a game after all. Just because I play every day doesn't mean someone else should, and I understand that of course. You do you, my dude 😌

With the way you were pumping out genshin vids, it was inevitable to get burnt out. Seeing hour long videos every few days while entertaining, would cause burnout if it drags too long. Genshin (gacha games in general) are games best enjoyed when you take it slow, because the developers want you to play longer, not speedrun the game. Just take your time when playing fontaine. Don't let the FOMO influence you. Fontaine's story will continue till 4.2. That is plenty of time to play till you finish all the quests. Take your time for Fontaine. Because most Genshin fans are occupied ourselves playing through Fontaine as well. Its also healthier to keep the vids shorter. (Something I've noticed some other story quest KZbinrs starting to do). Because not everyone has the time to sit through hour long videos every time, keeping the viewcounts for longer while sustaining videos for a while.
