I had an experience with a rental car company on vacation. When we received the car we were told no smoking or $200 fine. No problem, we don't smoke. We were returning the car when my husband saw one of the returned car inspector throw a cigarette butt in the back seat. Husband walked over and handed it back to him. Then kept the phone video on him the rest of the time until I checked us out.

After returning your car, is it fairly easy to get the locations to be picked up by Uber?

Brooklynn the rental car area connects to the terminals at the far end of the area where the rental cars are parked. It’s very convenient

And notice the fuel tank is FULL ! I've been to many airport car rental bays, and Fort Lauderdale airport is one of the best located, best signage, most helpful staff of any on the eastern seaboard USA. Extra Good.
