Bonjour tout le monde !
As a French expat who has lived abroad for 10 years, I definitely missed certain things from my home country. In this video, I'll be sharing the aspects of French culture that I miss the most, from delicious food to charming architecture and more! Don't forget there are bad aspects too, but this video is meant to give you a taste of what makes France so special.
Aller, on y va ! 🇫🇷👋
PS: There are English 🇬🇧, Spanish 🇪🇸, and French 🇫🇷 subtitles

Oohhh. I relate. And I was only in France a few months, many years ago. From Breton to Provence. Calais to Alsace, such amazing diversity. (Loved the little villages and terroir of Provence. I could easily live there.) Scenery, food, culture, architecture, society. I'm a chef, miss the food. I had French in school but for the first time to be around French people I REALLY started to speak it! From NZ yet it felt like a second home. You know you're "international" when a tourist joins you at a town bus-stop, asks you about the bus times and you give them detailed routes to their stop. Then she asked me how long I'd been there from Norway! Apparently I speak French with a little Scandihooligan accent.

Oh Bretagne is my home region, it is stunning, isn't it ❤️ I want to go and create more content from there. I'm so glad you had such a good time in France and that you felt home (at least like a second home). But I'm also extremely curious about your accent now 🤣

You're correct yes. The word expat is evolving and more and more used for a synonym of voluntarily immigrant but indeed, originally it's not the same thing and I was an immigrant 👍
