I have like 40 characters still lv1. Some good ones too. Eternals, S.Surfer, Ghost Rider Robbie, Photon, Cloak, Dagger, Kraven, Lizard, Spider Slayer, Forge, Nightcrawler, Sunspot, Gwenom, Void Knight etc. Many others who I'd like to build. Even just getting these guys all to lv70 t13, which isn't even that usable is such a grind.

I came back to the game like a month ago.. and when i last played.. the symbiotes were the arena/raid meta 😅 but im still sitting at 220-260 rank in the arena. Im so much behind but im having fun. i never focused on the "meta" i always picked those heroes to gear and level up who i personally like haha . Reached lvl 84 just now. so i cant even gear to 16 yet and finished dd3 ..

I just got back into the game when the ultimas v and dd1 where the strive for and fantastic four just came out where defenders were the staple to build up and good old yandu for mystics lol

I came back after 6 mth break 2 mth ago and feel pretty caught now. It's much different game than when I left. Catching up is lot easier now.

I left for over a year at level 71 im back now at level 74 and ive never bought packs. I feel soo behind guys are just whooping my ass lol but im having lots of fun just playing, idk how one who doesn’t buy stuff stays caught up. Its almost impossible and i play all day in between going to work and i still cant catch up.

The only thing I would say is don’t work towards BB Apoc. I tried doing that and I hit a wall cuz I don’t have enough ions to get them to lvl 5 iso and not enough gear as well. Once you have enough ions start thinking about it don’t do the mistake I’ve done

Really no helpful info that I seen on this one . There’s no way to level the toons you actually need because they don’t give you enough training modules

The main thing I’m confused by is the fact that I took a break from the game for a long time and came back to discover all these characters that required so many shards to get were now super easy to get. I don’t want to complain but it feels like I worked so hard to get these characters just for me to now easily get them. When did this happen?

I hadn't played since 2022 I think I had played since launch. Its all different now in some ways better

Good thing I returned to the game after the anniversary and a great x-men update :-(. Now I’m realizing why I quit in the first place at Account level 62. I am bottle necked so hard with gold and training modules. I’m sure that sounds goofy to veteran players. But I’m trying to just focus on the campaigns and build up 3-4 teams but focusing on one team at a time. And I can only train my characters one or two levels and then I’m stuck for two days till training module daily challenge comes around.

I stopped 3 years ago and my account was only at level 31. I just hit level 70 and trying to build up my teams on a ftp only account.

My arena shard is ridiculous and I can only sit at rank 105 consistently as a free to play, so I don’t worry about arena. Everyone above me is a spender, and I am not, so it is what it is. Build your raid teams folks

I love it when when end game content schills are so disconnected from returning/mid game and starting players. When they tell you don't build this team or this team. But mid game players are building NECESSARY REQUIRED teams to advance to the necessary end game teams. And then these end game players are using these "don't build" teams in war or cc because the new room buffs. Why I don't listen to these people when it comes to building characters or teams. Almost all of them are used or required for something.

I mean nobody at any point needs to build war/cc or raid teams to advance. I’m mid game and I skip over any I don’t need to advance. Not even trying for a big boy apocalypse

if your a returning player you just buy a 70mil+ account and act like you "earned it" while breaking TOS all credibility is gone
