Have you watched travel videos of the West Bank before Oct. 7? I recommend Rick Steves, a USA citizen and teacher who was accused of antisemete for showing the Occupation by Israel in the West Bank. He didn't showed Gaza. There are a few travel videos that showed the Occupation so one must asked oneself, "don't Palestinians have the right to defend themselves by Uprising? Israel have the right to exist but so does Palestine. Free Palestine. Peace

I dove into a WW2 rabbit hole several years ago and there’s so much to learn through that conflict but at the end of the day - a question came up for me; why do people not like Jews (form a contemporary and historical perspective) As a Christian, I’ve come to a conclusion as to why the Jews are marginalized throughout history… In WW2 nazis came to the conclusion Jews played an important role in the conclusion of WW1 which explains the manifestation of the Holocaust. Historically, Jews were not allowed to own land (under the pope) and Christian’s were not allowed to lend money… essentially, the polarity in societal and social expectations dependent on religion in ancient times has manifested false truths about certain demographics… One misconception about Jews is that they ‘steal’ and have took control of world currency however as previously mentioned, Jews were not allowed to own land, instead they were allowed to trade and lend money, while Christian’s were allowed to own land and weren’t allowed to lend money… From a contemporary perspective, it’s easy to see why controlling a land of their own (Israel) is so important to the Jews because historically they’ve not been granted/bestowed the right to do so.. While I didn’t address Poland, I think the jewish history in Poland is even more exemplary of why Jews would want a Jewish controlled state.

I haven't thought about it that way but the ownership of land is only a part of it since the land of israel is belonging to the jews on a deeper level than a private land would on a foreign nation even if that nation would be friendly towards jews but it's also about the autonomy and safety since jews were in the mercy of the local rulers or local populations in the diaspora so it's not just the ownership of land in itself but it is interesting to think about it's impact on antisemetism one of the things that the nazis did as well as others that have persecuted the jews and very similarly what the arabs in the land of israel\gaza \ the west bank have done and tried to do is to take whatever posessions the jews have because jews shouldn't have a country , not property , no rights and nothing according to the antisemetic belif both in islam and in european\christian antismetism if jews have anything than it must be stolen (like with the stolen lands narrative ) so that can explain some of the hatred towards jews or rather the hatred towards jews manifest itself in many ways including the idea that jews can't own anything of their own

There are many reasons why US send money to Israel, which enables them to buy weapons since Arabs have been launching rockets almost daily since 1948. Many events do not reach mainstream news in US. Israel is the only democracy in the Middle-East and ere are strategic reasons shy the US needs Israel. There are moral reasons based on Judeo-Christian values. I do not think it's a waste of money, but an investment. Conversely, the war in Ukraine has become a waste o money. Solving problems in the USA is not about throwing more money, but different leadership. The WOKE leftist democrats in the major cities have destroyed American cities, Biden has been disastrous for the USA and World. That's the problem.

Of course Lavender, you can visit here, or come to work there for a period of time, but not become a permanent resident since you're not Jewish (you are an Assyrian Christian). insha Allah I will visit once historical Palestine is fully restored. I have made a solemn promise to Allah that if I am still alive and life and death is in Allah s hands only, I will move to Jerusalem once it is fully restored to its Islamic roots. The Palestinians gave peace a shot in 2018 and their peaceful resistance was met with a hellfire of bullets hitting and killing children, young men, women, medics, etc. Now what we need is calls for peace and nonviolence from both sides and both sides have to condemn the terroristic nature of actors that share the same race and religion and identity as do they. After the Israelis condemn the IDF, the Palestinians should be expected to condemn Hamas and then we can work to peace.
