Kulve Taroth is named for Astaroth, and is based on that root on Inanna/Ishtar, a Mesopotamian goddess. Shara (An Ishvalda) is named for An, the king of the Mesopotamian gods and Inanna’s father or ancestor. It is thought that the Eanna temple in ancient Uruk was originally a temple to An before being claimed and converted into a temple of Inanna, associated with gold. Shara built the everstream and Kulve rules as its empress. Both have similar behaviors to cover themselves in metallic coatings (more so Ore for Shara, but still high in metal content-and which seems to survive his vibrations when the surrounding rock is turned to sand!) I like to think Kulve lured Shara here because her temple made of metallic gold won’t vibrate apart like rock to sand, since it’s not brittle, and so was able to win using the environment as a weapon and defensive tool, and ended up claiming the everstream much as Inanna became a more central cult figure in ancient religion. An excellent outcome, and a really cool fight. Thank you!

Highlights (Spoilers) 4:01 - Shara coming for a good clutch by breaking her horns off! 5:53 - Kulve is brave for trying to ram that beam! Did her damage tho 7:23 - Kulve and Shara roaring at each other? Before Kulve pulled the wall melt 9:00 - Shara rises up as Kulve tries to tail slap his face, but realizing Shara would blow her up with the spirit bomb, Kulve pole dances like the average stripper and makes a spectacle just as the spirit bomb blew up, Unfortunately Shara with only 1k health left died from the falling ceiling. Rest In Flames Root Grandpa. AND BEHOLD.... THE UNEXPECTED WINNER WITH THE BEST DPS AND HOMEFIELD ADVANTAGE GIVE IT UP TO MY FAVORITE DRAGON!!! (Wasn't expecting her to win tbh but now she just killed it with this one.)

Man, your positioning really didn't favour Shara Ishvalda. I think you kept way too close to it most of the time, which ended up causing it to use its piddly melee attacks more rather than its proper vibration beams as much. It's not mobile enough for that kind of positioning, while Kulve Taroth is. Of course, it'd be neat to see how Kulve Taroth could stack up to a 3rd phase Fatalis!

Thats what I was thinking too. Not to mention, its melee attacks didnt even land a lot of the time due to it trying to target the hunter underneath em. Kulves aoe and multi hit attacks are used at pretty much every angle though. Clear shara would have done better if the hunter had been in the middle
