I have to say the sneakers that fit me best are Sketchers - I'd rate them a 10 for fit - but I couldn't find the colors/materials to go with my jeans. And so I brought with me those with a - 9 for fit - and the colors/materials are better matching. Now the DG are perfect in every way :)

You like? That ham sandwich was so good, everything about it was just perfect...a simple sandwich done perfectly. I'd rate it the best in Paris so far. We have great multi-grain bread here in the US with amazing crust to boot, but not baguettes, you're right. Lovely to see you always, Sue :)

Glad you are back, I used to go to Angelina in winter for great thick chocolate, not many people around Paris neither in one way is great, I been to the Ritz many July ago I know they did renovate but is almost the same charm, I bet they updated with the tech with those mirror TV. The patisserie window is my favorite but also jewelry, make up and shoes! Arrivederci for now, I hope soon in Italy!

You're welcome, glad you like my videos :) George V usually reigns supreme, but not on this trip. The Ritz is catching up. I'm guessing things take time to get back to normal - and spectacular things probably take longer?

Alexis, thanks for the Ritz videos! I have to go there for breakfast and have those scrambled eggs with shrimp!!! One question, does the Ritz still have a gift shop with Ritz logo items inside the hotel?

Glad you like the videos :) Haha you love them too huh? I'd rate that dish a 10. Yes, the gift shop was wide open during my stay, didn't buy anything since nothing seemed particularly interesting. I think the hotel is still recuperating from the pandemic.
