This was a great video. Although the Four Seasons George V is not in my budget, I enjoyed seeing it as there is so much history with it. Jeff Leatham still does the floral designs for the hotel. It was nice to see the Arc de Triomphe, again. I drove around it, as I was heading south toward Cannes. I came home on AirFrance, too! Love that airline.

I've only had île flottante with caramelized sugar on top in a dish of creme anglaise. It's one of my favorite desserts. This one also looks so delicious and decadent! Thanks for taking us to Paris with you!

It was a memorable dessert at the end of our first dinner in Paris eons ago! My second favorite dessert is a tie between creme brûlée and profiteroles. I never prepared île flottante but had fun making spun caramelized sugar for croquembouche and bûche de Noël. Julia Child shows inspired me to experiment making these special desserts for our family Christmas parties. *4 SF French bistros with a cool Parisian Left Bank vibe : 1. Matilda French Bistro-île flottante (near SFMOMA) 2. Absinthe brasserie and bar (Hayes St., near Davis Symphony Hall & SF Opera House) 3. Cafe Bastille (Financial district...in Belden Place, epicurean alley with outdoor seating/patio heaters) 4. Chapeau! (restaurant/Inner Richmond district...The chef used to give diners a small cone of cotton candy at the end!) Thanks again for taking the time to vlog on your business trips!

Wonderful! a modern, antique style room! i like the decors, aristocratic atmosphere! I can't even imagine myself flying off to Paris and book for 5 class hotel, it'll demolish my budget

Try rooming with brother/sister/colleague/friend/lover. Your roomie, except your lover haha, can sleep in the roll-away bed which you'll request from the hotel. Then book in low season, get there during weekdays, combine your pocket money with the expense account. Good luck!
