I know Jesus Christ is my Saviour:) my 1st car crash broke my neck, but didn’t change my heart! So God gave me a 2nd car crash which gave me blood clots! That got my attention! My heart ❤️ now belongs to Him

We in some ways, a similar truth yet varies greatly. A southern Baptist and brought up in a loving family, a time came when I found myself set apart from this. I felt alone, when I say alone I mean separated from my family, so I turned and ( realized ) I was not alone. Long , long story short, it never stops , it just gets better. The Blessings, things I see now I and have yet to see, absolutely amazes me . We are here but for a short while, temporary and then I know I will see HEAVEN for all Eternity in GODS presence. Praise GOD the FATHER. GOD BLESS you

Thanks for sharing your message. I find myself in a similar situation right now, I know that what I'm doing doing is not right. What I got from this message is, it's better to place yourself in God's hands, rather than fall in God's hands. Falling in God's hands is not a good thing, it gives me some peace to know that Heavenly Father is still with me because every time I do wrong, I am tormented by my thoughts. I'm getting a new job that will allow me to be off on Sundays, as soon as this happens I'll be returning to church. Thanks!
@michaelgregson24777 жыл бұрын
Mistercharmz831 you can do this. Choose to open the door for Christ each day and with Him on your side no addiction is strong enough to have a fighting chance against His grace and power to redeem and save. Keep in touch, would love to hear how you are doing in the future. God bless you brother.

This is a beautiful example of the power of 'choice' which we are all blessed with. He could have used that accident as a crutch to wallow deeper in his misery. He had the perfect excuse to drink more and abuse pain meds. Instead he chose to change his life for the better. He chose seek the Lord's help. With the Lord he found his footing, got back up and started to live a fulfilling life! Each one of us is given that ability. :)

I am struggling with prayer now. I used to pray 5 or 6 times a day. I no longer pray. I guess it's my lack of faith now
@pktheviking7 жыл бұрын
germans1 the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. Start with just a simple prayer of thanks for having a new day before you. Do that, and your prayers will grow to asking for help and guidance and additional thanks for what you have been blessed with. You will begin to see our Father's hand in your life and your faith still be restored. I do not know you or your life and what brought you to the point to stop praying, but I see that it has bothered you enough to post it online. You can turn this around. By simple steps and doing these things that I have mentioned, my faith increased and the power of prayer has been made manifest in my life.

Oh wow me too! I'm so broken such a mistake such a freak. So much shame I cant face the Lord I cant even get out of my home very often. I have 2 service dogs I go with. How can I ever look at the Lird how can I ever let Him look at me face to face? I call out to Him in prayer yet it's as if I keep my back to Him for fear He would look upon me my ugliness and just reject me. Please I dont want to live and be like this anymore. The pain is much to great the loneliness the shame it's just too much for me to continue to bare. I'm seeking I'm searching everywhere high and low. I want to feel His love and I want to be able to pray to Him and not be turned away from Him or hidden anymore. I feel so hideous and so deeply afraid.

I had a similiar experience. My mom died when I was 18. For years I felt alone. I got in to drinking & drugs. I also was into porn. I was able to quit drinking & drugs. However the porn hung on. In was not constant, but was there. Then I got a computer. My addiction to porn became very promient in my life. It one point it began to cross over to underage. The Lord tried to impress on me through other people that I needed to stop. I would quit only to go back to it. I look back now & realize I did not ask the Lord for help. I believe if I had things would have been different. My addiction eventually led me to prison. As what was said here in the video, it was the best thing that could happen to me. I had no choice, but to stop. It was really a blessing that I went to prison.

Why Mormons are Mormons why they don't call them Christian. and why they are so obsessed with Joseph Smith, we hear less of Jesus but more of Joseph why is that?
@michaelgregson24777 жыл бұрын
Donald Wood not true my brother. Joseph Smith was a an imperfect man like you and I; However, like Moses, our Father in a heaven used Him as His instrument to restore many truths that were lost after the death of a Jesus Christ and all of His apostles. If you have questions let me know, I would love to help.
@garrettpeterson42937 жыл бұрын
To answer your first question, we are often referred to as Mormons in our church because of a book we study alongside the Bible, called the Book of Mormon. So I guess you could say it's our nickname. Just like how people are referred to as Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox, etc. we are likewise called Mormons. We are all branches of Christianity, for Christ is the center of all of our beliefs, but it is just a name to classify who we are specifically. Like Michael Gregson, if you have any further questions, just let me know!
