Returning to Yu-Gi-Oh! This Card Changes EVERYTHING! A Yu-Gi-Oh! Challenge! (Episode 14)

After finding an incredible Yu-Gi-Oh community on KZbin and series such as Nyhmnims "Sealed Only Challenge" as well as Revzcards "Yu-Gi-Oh from scratch" I felt wildly inspired to step back into the trading card game after a 10 year hiatus.
This however is not a sealed only channel. I will be re-building my competitive decks and collections primarily through singles. Shout out to Cimoooo.
On the fourteenth episode of returning to Yu-Gi-Oh! We actually build a couple of competitive decks for master rule 5 including Paleozoic Forgs and pure Cyber Dragons. We also talk about building Zombies in the near future and react to the new Yu-Gi-Oh April banlist. We do some fun Duel Overload pack openings, a lot of focus is put on a going second otk strategy and we do some testing online! Anyways, I hope you guys are staying safe and healthy. @@Ruggles117 if you run Super Poly as a side card, you can make Starving Venom depending on which deck you're playing and then make a Chimeratech Fortress Dragon. The other way I've seen is using Mecha Phantom Beast Auroradon and making two Fortress Dragons with the tokens. It takes some finagling, but it's possible haha.

D/D/D Is an a really fun deck. Very combo heavy and with being able to synchro and fusion summon in normal monster spots allows this deck to really combo off and to recover from what most decks would consider a massive loss.

@@Ruggles117 Bro when you get one of your big combos off which with the help of things like halqifibrax(needlefiber) and cross sheep can end with like 4 negates that are also big as FU**. It makes you feel so big Brain. Plus it's relatively cheap, I'm able to pick my version of the deck up for about $140 that includes main deck,extra deck, card sleeves, and deck box, it would cost an extra 50 if I wanted borreload savage but fu-- that, I'll wait for a reprint

Omg your reaction to the banlist is spot on. Glad you came back to cydras. A bit of advice. With a cydra deck, hand traps is really depends on which kind of build your deck is made. A more control cydra deck would probably want those types of monster in the deck. However, in fusion heaven deck like your doesn't want hand traps but instead some steam to keep it going. Still a great build. It kinda reminds me of my first build on the deck XD. Anyhow nice go and true. Yugioh will wait for us to come back. That banlist montage physically hurt me... sorry for your loss. As for me I'm going to continue playing Morphtronics in this new format. I'll never get sick of Machine Duping Celfon or a Synchro Shokan for Power Tool Dragon. (Got my custom mat with him on it yesterday :D) In our circle of friends we played with the MR5 ruleset since it was announced, so I legit didn't need to change a thing on my deck going into this new rule. Just beeing able to make one Power Tool Dragon to fetch Repair Unit before going into something like Platinum Gadget is really nice. I'm really loving the new rule so far. Ruggles I completely agree! Anaconda has greatly helped the consistency and that is key with this deck for sure. It was the first deck I picked up when I got back into Yugioh and the Facebook page have amazing people to help!

Hello there buddy! I just wanted to make note of something. GAME 1 vs Dark Magician: You played Slumber, and then proceed to end phase. BUT! If a card effect states that a monster has to “attack if able” you have to entree battle phase unless another effect prevents you from doing it. I haven’t seen anyone else pointing this out. Getting into the game 'properly' for the first time, and both myself and the friend that's getting me into it are big fans of Shaddoll. Got a set of structure decks on the way and hopefully once the lockdown here's ended I'll start looking around the locals here in the UK. Sadly, the friend's all the way over in Belgium, so it's not like we can find a local we can both visit, but hey, online's fun.

Pure Lunalights was my first playable deck, and I will ride or die with this deck! Tiger getting banned hurt, but OTK'ing with the Lunalight fusions is still very fun
