I love this for shine and hold, but it dries my scalp and cause itchiness. I don’t want to toss it, so I guess I’ll just mix an oil with it and keep it moving. But for those who can use it, it works really well.

I hear ya! I think the first thing that attracted me to it was the shine…but I love the idea of mixing it with oil! Thanks Sis!

@@StayGOALden I wanted to update you on this…it actually worked. I added my sproil oil and mixed it as best I could. It didn’t take long for me to feel the difference. My scalp thanks me for this. I hope this works for you and others. Take care❤️.

Oh WORD! That’s what’s up! I’m so glad…thanks for confirming that adding oil makes it so much better. What kind of oil did you add?
@CoCo-Five2 жыл бұрын
@@StayGOALden I used the Jamaican mango and lime Sproil oil. It’s a lot lighter than the castor oil. My hair is on the dryer side, so I really like it. I hope the usual oil that a person use will have the same effect as this oil did for me.

Thank You so much for showing us the difference between interlocking and the regular retwist method. I worry about build up as well but your hair turned out so nice! I would be interested to see what happened a few days later. I learn so much from your channel, thank you for the solid content :) Even the product reviews, you're so good at describing both pros and cons.

I have this product for my locs. It's good but I had the same issue with the unraveling and white residue buildup. This happened within 4 to 5 days. I have to get a different product.

Girl I’m sorry to hear that…even on my daughters loose hair it just didn’t do well..had to toss it! I’m gonna stick with what works for me. Consider Nia the Loc God Gel…it’s been a new find but I really like my outcome… Thank for tuning in…💕💕

I received my order today. I was surprised at the consistency. I thought it was GEL. I'm not all that comfortable putting something this heavy on my roots. Also, when I use products like this on my edges it always leaves a white cast and I really don't want a white cast all over. It already takes so long to do an average retwist with oil and water. I'm scared🤣 Also anyone suggesting a retwist on dry hair is questionable. That causes breakage on our hair. YOUR hair looked great!

It caused the absolute worse build up all and up down my sons locs. It took countless (6) ACV and baking sodas detoxing over the course of 3 months to get it out and it’s still not all out. I’ll never use it again.

Is it ok to twist on dry hair ? Cause I’d rather do that then . And you are making me want some carribean kinks lol . I love this retwist . Oh no the buildup . I know people were saying they got build up with the loc n gel . I just got the nia the loc god gel in the mail i can’t wait to try it . I already got her mist and I’m obsessed and currently trying to hold on to the little that I have til I can get some more 🙃😢😭😭😭

Girl I don’t know 🤷🏾♀️ but my hair was moisturized and it seemed like people got better results with this product on dry hair….🫤. But Sis I’ve been 👀 at that product line toooo…you like the refresher for real?! Finding something that really works GOES A LONGGGGG WAY! So GOOD for you. Glycerin be acting funny in my hair that’s why I stayed away but I’ve been hearing nothing but good things about that product line! Maybe I should consider their retwisting products though…🤔 Thanks for sharing and tuning in! 🥰

@@StayGOALden omg I loveeeeeee the most . Funny thing though I thought it didn’t work for some time when I first washed my hair and used it I was like my hair doesn’t feel any different but maybe after two or three days the magic happened ! My hair was soft and moisturized so I’m guessing if u wash your hair with tap water it takes a minute for it to kick in . Also the same if you’re first using it . It’s so hood u don’t have to use it every day … rose water who ?? Lol
@laurenlocd31802 жыл бұрын
@@StayGOALden also if u do but it DO NOT use the mist to retwist . It is not regular water although it looks clear (she stated this too ) your roots will not last that’s how soft your hair will be . Use regular water to retwist and the most to moisturize .
