Very nice. My locs are many years old now and it took my hair a year and a half to fully lock. My Google pic very old my hair has been down to my butt and I have cut it several times. Enjoy the journey.

OMG, I've loc'd my hair 3 times already and have not then out 2 1/2 years ago. I really miss them and am considering doing then again. A girlfriend if mine just got love for the first time done in Africa and the used the threading method to start them. I think I want to try that. My hair is so thin that's why it have really worked for me but I think if I thread them, be I won't have to twist them. But I will do all natural products too. The aloe vera sounds great.

Hey ummm i'm new to the loc world..i loved your video hoping you can give me your opinion on something..i am coming from processed hair straight into loc...on my own..any advice...i puts twists in hair and every on the same date i wash and roll the roots... m i on the right path...

I wouldn't put too much tension on the roots because that could cause thinning after a while. At first I would start with retwisting maybe around every 4-6 weeks. As they mature you should be able to stretch your retwists longer. Good luck on your journey.

Try making your own aloe vera gel its much more healthier for your hair and you'll know exactly what is in it. You can add essential oils too. I add vitamin e, tea tree and carrot seed oil

@@abterry1418 nope it dissolves and leaves no residue but gives a good hold. I use 1 vitamin e capsule, 2-3 drops per essential oil and half a medium aloe vera leaf. It can be stored in the fridge for up to a month.
