people keep hating on the Bastillards when in reality they are the ones that would be the best option for Tomsk in a fall rot scenario, considering how Göring can easily win the german civil war. they also would probably fix the population, economic, and political instability a lot faster then the other factions. The other factions would either waste money or fail under Russia's current conditions. Not saying their bad it's just that the other parties in the saloon are are the equivalent of being shipwrecked on an abandoned island and trying to make a utopia out of it. The Bastillards however make sure Russia has a good foundation before establishing the other parties goals. Lastly the Bastillards are incredibly honest and aren't power hungry so I'm sure they would gladly hand their power to the others after they make sure Russia is in a good position to do so.

Honestly my biggest problem with Tomsk is that it's a "wealistic democwacii uwu" like deadass the devs literally created an unrealistic world where Germany won a war they never had the resources to and Japan became a spacefaring global empire on America's level, like these are the same devs that gave us the option to make utopian counism and fully automated luxury gay space communism a real thing despite making no sense so picking the "safe and sane" option with no drip, no extreme power, no Uber weath, no fun lore is just bluughhhh
