Right! That's the one thing I hated about Eris leaving, never having a definitive answer on what they were, the heartbreak from her not telling him what happened before she left.. But if she had told Rudeus he might've not met or married Sylphy and Roxy, so depending on the story it worked out.. 2 wives and a husband, Rudeus really gets around! All women though, so story wise I guess it worked out, but yeah he was an adult by the time she came back.. From a teenager to an adult, waiting and never knowing what happened between them with certainty.. It's a lot of pressure to out on someone you left without saying g goodbye to, so she had no leg to stand on being upset that he married.. Though in the Dark Timeline she stuck by him even after everyone hated him, even when he was a POS criminal Eris still stood by him, so all in all she's best girl! Sylphy abandoned Rudeus(I can't blame her) in that timeline but Eris never gave up on him even when she should have! Since Roxy was gone we don't know if she would've stuck by him in the Dark Timeline, but it goes to show Rudeus loves Roxy more than anything and fell apart without her..

I kinda wish these two had gotten together first. In terms of loyalty to Rudy I’d say she was the most loyal to Rudy , Roxy was basically fated to be with Rudy and she really did fall for the guy when they met again. Obviously she didn’t look at him like that when he was 5 dude was a child while she was 30 I believe around that time. Sylphy has always admired Rudy and grew to love him , I think the only thing that tainted her a little for me was volume 11 when Rudy asked what she would do if at that point in time he would of asked her to leave Ariel and she said she would choose Ariel. Yeah she redeems herself later in chapter 17/18 when she then says she easily choose Rudy that’s after having kids with him already. That’s something Eris would never do she’d always choose Rudy , the only thing that tainted her was her leaving him behind without exposing herself but she is a dam airhead and sucks at communicating and ultimately suffered a little for her decisions

iirc, in the WN the old Rudeus (from dark time line) clearly told him to not fight Eris no matter what even if she picks a fight. Infact after reading his journal he realized that Eris would often pick fights with Rudeus and later Ghislaine got angry after Eris died and confronted him about how Eris had trouble communicating .
