It's so sad that Wei was so misunderstood. He helped everyone he could and in the end they all turned on him, even his own brother. He made the ultimate scarifice and gave his golden core to his brother because his brother's was crushed by a mercanery and yet Wei never rubbed it in his face, never asked for anything from him, and only wanted to see his brother be the swordsman he knew he could be. I understand always being seen in the shadow of your brother, but what an amazing shadow to be in. Wei never treated his brother as less than but as equals. After he gave his core, he only wished to be left alone to live his life, but that wasn't enough for them, they chastised him and pushed him to the point that when he finally had enough, and reacted, they labeled him and tried to kill him.... He had given up at that point because he had no one.. only Lan Zhan and he didn't want to burden his "friend" and I use quotations because in the book they are lovers, but in the show they are "friends". The Untamed is a beautiful show and the book is superb. The only thing I wished would have been different is the end when Wei and his brother talk, I wish there would have been something more from them, something that showed that they would recover their lost brotherhood, something like an invite or a brother hug or something.

I just noticed. I'm sure it was Lan Zhan who used magic to stop Jin Lings sword from piercing Wei Ying. I believe at this point, Lan Zhan knows its Wei Ying.

Rewatching this series means going all through the pain again. Its sad with what happened between wei ying and jiang chen. When you thought you will be with the person you thought that will gonna stay with you forever and suddenly because of unfortunate events that they went through and its really hard to mend everything because the pain was too much and you expect too much. At least, lanzhan and wei ying patched things up. But i guess jiang chen just cant move on. And i was thankful for the xicheng fan fiction I had read because at least in that stories wwx and jiang chen made up not the way they used too but they tried or jiang chen tried to be in good terms with wwx.

No matter what anyone say JC was a horrible brother to Wei he attack Wei with the core line gave himJC was a ungrateful hateful human being in both series JC should have been the one die in the series and not the sister
