It's not completely true, though. Wang Yibo is actually known as the brutally honest, but also quiet, non-communicative and reserved type. He is/was active and playful only with people that are/were very close to him, like his Unique band members with whom he has been for years, with a few of his Day Day Up colleagues, and, yes, with Xiao Zhan. As for Xiao Zhan, he is not serious all the time. Unlike Wang Yibo, despite being a bit shy, he is friendly and nice with most of his film/drama colleagues and other people he is working with. But with Wang Yibo he was bolder and more flirty than with other people. Although one of his other male actor colleagues said that he is unconsciously flirting all the time, it's his natural state of being. Probably it was a bit more conscious with Wang Yibo.

For being a top artist in China, Yibo is the most upfront savage person I've ever seen. He does not filter himself much. Sometimes, it's just shocking to me how bold he is. I watched a podcast concerning the 227, they both suffered because of an over a piece of imaginative fanfict I totally understand the upset of those who used the site which was closed down by the Chinese given, I also understand that an idol doesn't have the right to 'control' their fans - their are equal. It must have been a horrible tough year+ for both Yibo and Xian as they are friends. The reception Xian received at his first public appearance since this, with fans and audience wearing red and waving lights brought me to tears. He will rise again and show what a great actor and artist he is. I hope neither Yibo + Xian friendship suffered, they both persued their dreams and work hard x

Haven't finished the drama yet but I've read the novel and watched the donghua. Wang Yibo is such a great actor. I believe this is his first acting, right? Or at least one of the first ones and yet he behaves so differently as Lan Wangji. His facial expressions are impressiven while as Wang Yibo, the way he smiles at Xiao Zhan is just so cute. You can tell that he really loves the attention he gets from Xiao Zhan which is why he's so hyper and cheerful. That kind of adoration is just so pure and beautiful. The way he smiles a lot while talking to Xiao Zhan. You can't really convince me, he seems so comfortable around his gege. So adorable!
