My theory is that they got married in Germany, just civil wedding, because it's the only way Giulia could have gotten the visa, family visa. To get married in India first you need the tourist visa and then change it to marriage one, and at the moment, from what I know, they are not giving tourist visas at all.

Yes I tried from UK but government states they're not giving visas out. Can't even fly out only on buisiness atm. Plus Paris is on it's 3rd lockdown
