Airplanes are pretty gross, festering with bacteria like streptococcal (which can make you very sick) and e. coli so feeling sick/unwell after a flight makes complete sense. I recently watched a documentary on airplanes and how dirty they are. They did tests to find out what was the most dirty, bacteria-ridden thing on airplanes and it was the headrests. I'd definitely recommend bringing anti-bacterial wipes with you on your flights. Wipe everything down; tray table, headrest (especially), arm rests, tv/touch screens, and the seat pocket. Apparently, people use the tray tables as diaper changing stations and some stick the dirty diaper in the seat pockets. And then a flight attendant that was interviewed on the documentary said he found used tampons in the seat pockets! Maybe this doesn't happen on every airline but it's better to be safe rather than sorry.
