This is awesome!! I just found some chairs like this at Salvation Army. But I wanted to research before I made the purchase. After this, I will go and get them. Hopefully they are still there.

They came out so pretty!!! 😍 do you know if this technique would work on a ‘slipper chair’ with a skirt? I have a new apartment and can’t afford new chairs but I was given permission to reupholster them. They’re dining chairs with no arms so I think it should apply. I also thought it was cool how you redid the wood color, it really complements the blue!

This was a great tutorial! You did a great job! How many curtain panels did it take for both chairs?
@LovelyEtc3 жыл бұрын
It took one pair of curtains - but I used absolutely every scrap of fabric from them.

So cute! The chair is great too. Let’s redo my dinning table. Make you dinner? Thank you Mam!

Thank you for this tutorial. I recently painted the fabric on 2 chairs but I’m not loving it. Definitely think I’m going to try this instead. Can you tell me what color paint did you use on the wood? Thank you

What's the brand of the staple gun you used?
@LovelyEtc3 жыл бұрын
My staple gun is an Arrow staple gun. It is old but it similar to this one (affiliate link) - amzn.to/35nGupk. It's a basic, heavy duty staple gun.

This wasn't really a tutorial because you didn't really upholster the chair, you just covered over.

Good grief. You had to comment just to nitpick?

Hi Carmen Tartaglia, can you please provide a link to your tutorial on how to "upholster a chair". That's exactly what was done here but curious how you tackle the project. Maybe you were confused since reupholster and upholster were used interchangeably? However, reupholstering was also done here since she removed material and didn't just recover the old fabric. Either way, excellent video!
