We have one traveling around the world now like the 266 Roman Catholic popes before him that have spoken blasphemous things and changed the calendars! At minute 19:36, where the Thessalonians reference refers to vengeance being taken....it sounds to me as if it refers to two groups: (1) those who do not know God and (2) those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I find this very significant. I see the Calvinists as a group who reject the gospel (and even the sinners prayer - the notion that one can call upon the name of the Lord and be saved). "those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ" is probably referring to all who call themselves christian but are not in the truth. For example, not only Calvinism, but also the charismatic movement (which Dave Hunt made a good case for witchcraft having entered the church). I was totally blown away by this verse today. Is this second group the "goats" referred to in the Bible? Is this where the sheep and goats are separated?

min 59:09 deals with how satan got dominion over the earth. Doug said that when death came, Adam could no longer hold onto the keys. That is interesting. I thought that it was a case of, Adam had dominion over everything and when he set himself under Satan by obeying Satan, then Satan got the dominion that had been Adam's?
