@MonkeyRenchGarage
@MonkeyRenchGarage 4 жыл бұрын
I’m glad i could point you in the right direction with the proper information. And yea I’ve noticed that no one talks about them being rebuildable. And honestly that’s a major key difference with these and other coilovers in the same price range. One other thing to add. If you want to change your spring rates. You can use the 62mm Swift springs of whatever spring rate you want.

Hey man how did these do after 6 months to a year after installation? Debating on ordering a set for my mustang found some extremely cheap ones for as cheap as 250 which I really don’t know how I feel about them but these caught my eye they’re about 650$ after shipping and tax for everything I’ve seen some bad reviews but a lot of good just kinda wanna know about longevity lol I found another kit about these for about 1100 but then the rest are like 3k plus. I know you get what you pay for but I really don’t need no 3,000$ + set up everyone’s trying to direct me towards I literally drive the car 2-3 days a week and it sees a track a couple times a year. Everyone telling me they ride like ass but after seeing your video it looks like it rides a lot better than what I have now 🤣 I believe the previous owner either cut the springs or heated them up in my car but it’s way too bouncy and I don’t like it and I told my self I wanted to do coil overs and tubular control arms and k member free up some space underneath for my headers and lose some weight. Nice review by the way man! Took me a while to find a good review on these many didn’t really go into depth and explained as well as you did.

So far they are good. I have them dialed the n pretty good for the street. Stiff. But not to harsh that i feel every little bump.

Nice review, how high do u think it would go? i need that option since the road from where i visit someone needs a good height to get there.
@MonkeyRenchGarage
@MonkeyRenchGarage 4 жыл бұрын
I think with them at their highest setting they are about a 1” drop. Also as for height it depends on your wheels size and tire combo.

Monkey Rench Garage thanks man. That’s a big help for me, i’m concern about my rims, i have 19” i wanted it to be higher cos it’s hitting the fender when there’s more than 2 people inside, unless i get rid of the rims which i really like.
@MonkeyRenchGarage
@MonkeyRenchGarage 4 жыл бұрын
Nice. I’ll have more actual input for this. As i have a set of 19s just waiting to get tires for them. But i noticed when i test fitted one wheel. Had a 235/35r19. I’m going with 255/40r19 rears and 235/40r19 fronts.

I did have more space for rebound and jounce when compared to the stock wheels and fat tires.

Hey so on part 4:44 you don’t need a spring on there anymore ??
@MonkeyRenchGarage
@MonkeyRenchGarage 3 жыл бұрын
No. These coilovers are a “married” or true coilover pair as some would call it. The spring is on the strut assembly like the fronts

Thank you so much for the reply, so basically that spot is empty now ?
@MonkeyRenchGarage
@MonkeyRenchGarage 3 жыл бұрын
No problem man. And yes. That space will just be empty. Until i install a “bucket delete kit” which will replace that arm with a bucket less arm.
@adrianfierro870
@adrianfierro870 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot bro I appreciate it , just one more question is that bucket delete needed or more for looks ?
@MonkeyRenchGarage
@MonkeyRenchGarage 3 жыл бұрын
@@adrianfierro870 well the bucket delete isn’t necessary per say. I’ve been running without it since the install. But when you upgrade the arms, they are adjustable and come with fresh bushings. So for the adjustability and new bushings are the reason i want to upgrade. But definitely not “needed”
