@MonkeyRenchGarage4 жыл бұрын
I’m glad i could point you in the right direction with the proper information. And yea I’ve noticed that no one talks about them being rebuildable. And honestly that’s a major key difference with these and other coilovers in the same price range. One other thing to add. If you want to change your spring rates. You can use the 62mm Swift springs of whatever spring rate you want.

In my opinion they are. For the price the quality is outstanding. Just takes a bit to dial in the rebound stiffness to how you like it. Once that’s done, they ride good. You could even change the springs for swift springs if you want

Are you still running these, how long did they last if not. And what are you thoughts on them now
@MonkeyRenchGarage Жыл бұрын

@genrock67564 жыл бұрын
Nice review, how high do u think it would go? i need that option since the road from where i visit someone needs a good height to get there.
@MonkeyRenchGarage4 жыл бұрын
I think with them at their highest setting they are about a 1” drop. Also as for height it depends on your wheels size and tire combo.
@genrock67564 жыл бұрын
Monkey Rench Garage thanks man. That’s a big help for me, i’m concern about my rims, i have 19” i wanted it to be higher cos it’s hitting the fender when there’s more than 2 people inside, unless i get rid of the rims which i really like.
@MonkeyRenchGarage4 жыл бұрын
Nice. I’ll have more actual input for this. As i have a set of 19s just waiting to get tires for them. But i noticed when i test fitted one wheel. Had a 235/35r19. I’m going with 255/40r19 rears and 235/40r19 fronts.

@MonkeyRenchGarage3 жыл бұрын
You talking about the ones with the knob on the end? If so they are for the dampening adjustment in the rear.
@jeremyvazquez3 жыл бұрын
@@MonkeyRenchGarage Oh okay, are they a necessity to have?
@MonkeyRenchGarage3 жыл бұрын
@@jeremyvazquez well they are good to have on for when you want to adjust the dampening. As they settle you may need to adjust. You lay not. But they are not technically “necessary” but for when you want to adjust dampening you may need to drop the suspension again instead of just turning the knobs
@danigarcia17883 жыл бұрын
Question. What about if combine this coil over and the old spring from old suspension ?

Hey man how did these do after 6 months to a year after installation? Debating on ordering a set for my mustang found some extremely cheap ones for as cheap as 250 which I really don’t know how I feel about them but these caught my eye they’re about 650$ after shipping and tax for everything I’ve seen some bad reviews but a lot of good just kinda wanna know about longevity lol I found another kit about these for about 1100 but then the rest are like 3k plus. I know you get what you pay for but I really don’t need no 3,000$ + set up everyone’s trying to direct me towards I literally drive the car 2-3 days a week and it sees a track a couple times a year. Everyone telling me they ride like ass but after seeing your video it looks like it rides a lot better than what I have now 🤣 I believe the previous owner either cut the springs or heated them up in my car but it’s way too bouncy and I don’t like it and I told my self I wanted to do coil overs and tubular control arms and k member free up some space underneath for my headers and lose some weight. Nice review by the way man! Took me a while to find a good review on these many didn’t really go into depth and explained as well as you did.
