Loving this sermon by Rev. Nicks he really was a great Preacher and Organ Player. I was very young child when I attended this church. My parents, older siblings, auntie + uncle and my cousins where members of St. James Missionary Baptist Church. I usually fall asleep after the choir stopped singing. Now, I'm older adult and I missed good church preaching. Most churches are just social club these days. Some churches don't even read from The Holy Bible any more. What ashamed how churches have changed. This is a treasure right here. Thanks to whoever recorded this sermon and posted on KZbin I thank you very much. God Bless You!!! 🙏🙏👏👏☺️💖☺️💯

I have been listening to Rev Charles Nicks and the St James Choir & soloists for years. This is the first time hearing a sermon by Rev Nicks. I love it..thank you for posting

I attended St.James under Rev C.H. Nicks, Jr. from 1976 through 1978. I completed my Master's of Ed. at Wayne State University. How I enjoyed the services and the choirs were outstanding. The choir lead the spirituals, but it was apparent that the entire church joined in so boldly and confidant. At many churches allow the pew setter to observe; but, not St. James. Everyone participated and your Bible was required. We were there prepared tohave a mighty good time in the Lord. How I would love to hear some his other services. Thhank you for sharing.
