I don't know what that string like material is made from but it looks like plastic? If so, I would be incredibly worried about it stretching over time and no longer being able to tighten up well. This is without ever seeing it in person but my gut tells me to stay away from tightening systems like this one. I fully admit that I could be wrong...but I can't deny that the minute you opened the boot up my NOPE factor kicked in hard. I was in love up to that point.

If it stretches, you just tighten it more. The real problem is that it may break.

@@ezsteel78 Constantly reaching down to retighten is no better than breaking in my opinion. Either option is a no go. I just got my Forma Adventure Low boots in yesterday and they are great. No laces, no fancy system to worry about and they are comfortable as can be. I've been in them all day for yesterday and today and they're doing fine.

Yes, as long as your jeans cuff is pretty relaxed you should be just fine.

Are you referring to their height? If so, then yes these would be a mid-height compared to the Expedition and Pioneer.

Not sure about looking like Daytonas but price wise these aren't far off the Daytona Trans Tourman which I bet is a nicer boot to wear overall.

i got H20 Discovery, after half year the was not waterproof anymore! "Itchy boot, dirt boot, wet boots shit boots

GTX offers a lifetime guarantee on the waterproofing, so as long as they haven’t been in a wreck to cause the leaking - they should be able to replace it for you.
