I’m not even a Christian but I would be in church every week if this type of music was playing.
@WendieRenee2 жыл бұрын
No you wouldn't. You can go to a concert simply for good music. The function of church is to worship a worthy God who has saved us. It is also to mature in our ability to submit to Christ's Lordship. So, once God's Word was taught (another function for gathering), our joy would remain but you'd be faced with your true spiritual condition before God. You'd then either have to repent and receive the gift of salvation by faith . . . or that superficial excitement you felt would quickly dissipate. Jesus taught: "But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship Him. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:23-24) The Christian's joy is not simply in the music but in the words of praise and gratitude toward a merciful, loving, faithful God who redeemed our souls.
@23085212 жыл бұрын
Don't believe in any of that. I like to fellowship with others and listen to good music.

@@2308521 Again, try a club. Or a false church under the guise of Christianity because there are plenty of those around. And trust me, you wouldn't return where authentic Christian fellowship and worship were taking place if you were there just for self gratification. For the very reasons I already stated.
@23085212 жыл бұрын

This song is so true . In your darkest hour when satan is bombarding you from ever side God sends his army of people who are the mirrors where God reveals himself to us when the enemy tries to cast his shadow over us he hears us if we cry out to him her reveals himself in his faithful servants. By accident I opened up my facebook app and I seen Blessing on Blessings and it was posted by a true angle who had come to help me years before i felt shame embarassed and just before i closed the app my bank sent me a notice and I surendered swallowed my pride and I want to dedicate this song to God sweetest angle Thank you Mona !

At times we in the church fail to understand the importance of a godly spirit led Psalmist. One who could lead the saints in new levels of worship and consecration to God. We compare them to worldly entertainers and miss the real importance of their work. Some die young and all we can do is reminisce. Let it not be so! Pray for them!
