I bought the Revair. I’ve been using it every wash day which is weekly for me. It’s a total game changer. I wish the wand was lighter and less bulky though, it’s not very ergonomic. I’m sure improvements will be made with subsequent versions.

With Revair its best not to move it up and down while drying. You can move down as the roots and below starts getting straighter. You have to hold it at the roots longer. High heat and number 7 tension gives the best results on thick natural hair. Plus if you're doing big sections like you are doing you have to dry it longer. My daughter hair is 4c and thick. Her hair gets really flat and straight once you learn how to use to right. I have 4b hair my hair gets pretty straight using it too.
@BL3SSed-Bliss
@BL3SSed-Bliss 3 жыл бұрын
Can you please explain why your 4b only "gets _pretty_ straight", if your daughter's 4c "hair gets *really flat and straight"?* Do you find/feel that it works superiorly for thicker, tighter coils; or is her hair just healthier?
@anderiafrank4116
@anderiafrank4116 3 жыл бұрын
@@BL3SSed-Bliss No I just think I spend more time on her hair than mine. I do smaller sections longer on each section. Her hair is way thicker than mine so I try to make sure I take my time on it. I don't spend as much time doing mine but I'm sure if I do I will get results like hers. Lol.

Love the video! I have been waiting on you to review this lol. I just got my Revair in the mail and used it last night. After watching at least 100 videos first (lol) plus reading the comments in each, I found some pretty helpful tips that helped me get killer results. (Note: When I say "stretched" I mean stretched ALMOST to the point that it's ready for a silk press or something. Not quite to that level, but way better than any stretch I've ever gotten with a traditional blow dryer!) 1. The 1-7 are the suction levels, not heat. I have Type 4 B/C, fine strand, low porosity, medium/high density, practically waist-length hair, and found that levels 6 and 7 on high-heat got my hair SUPER stretched. 2. Put the wand directly on your scalp then move it around and around on the section to keep the heat from concentrating in one area on your scalp, plus it will get your roots dry and stretched. This method also got my edges and everything completely stretched. 3. Using a wide-toothed comb (or fingers) to glide through your hair as you slowly pull the wand down the hair at the end of your 90 seconds helps get the hair and ends even straighter. 4. Leaving your ends in the wand for a few extra seconds helps finish stretching them out. 5. It takes practice to get a technique down to best fit your hair needs! Maybe in the future, you can do a "Do I Still Use The Revair" or some kinda video to see if your opinion changes! Thanks for the great content Beauty. (No, I'm not a ReVair rep or anything like that. I just love the results I got last night LOL. This mf still expensive af though.)

I have Revair Dryer and I LOVE it 😍 You need to do in smaller sections and the level has to be on 6 or 7 and don't dry so quickly.. If you do that the results are going to be better than Dyson!! And what I love about Revair is that you don't need to comb/brush hair to get it straight and there's not much heat, so there's is less breakage in the long run ...

I love it because it’s not an excessive amount of heat and not an excessive amount of damage from combing,buuuuuuuuuut,I don’t feel like my hair stays straight for the same amount of time as me using a blow dryer with a comb attachment. It gets very straight,but within an hour,it has puffed back up.

@@CaramelCoils ....I tore my rotator cuff last summer. So maybe that's why it hurt me so much. I've only used my Dyson like once or twice, because I never blow dry my hair myself! (too much work! LOL) I go twice a year to my stylist and let her blow dry & trim. The Dyson is better for me if I do need it though. It's lighter weight and the air flow is concentrated. As I've said before: I use my hooded dryer every weekend to deep condition and roller set!!! Well worth the $400!!! LOL :-)

Hi: I realize that this video is a few years old, however I was wondering, Do you think that perhaps the reason your roots did not respond as well to one dryer, as the other, might have been because of the delay in getting the 2nd dryer going? Once some hair gets dry at the roots, it almost needs to be saturated, for a dryer to affect it, otherwise it might require another, higher heating styling tool. Great video.

I saw another video posted by professional stylist. She followed the directions closely so used the Revair a bit differently. The outcome was much better. I am strongly considering buying one, reading the directions and posting as a lay person. The stylist mentioned leaning your head downward to alleviate arm fatigue. I think I will practice on my friend first if she’ll allow it. I imagine there is a learning curve for self use. I like the idea of drying without tension. The Dyson still requires tension but the stylist mentioned that you must make sure your hair is completely detangled before placing it in the Revair so I guess you are causing tension before rather than during. I am on the fence because loads of money is wasted if it doesn’t work well for non-stylist. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Decisions, decisions.

I recognize the Dyson is faster. But, that's because of the heat on your hair with the dyson.Also your hair was wet differently on both sides because it had dried out. I would never be able to style my hair just sprayed. You definitely needed smaller sections. I prefer the Rev. The hair stays beautifully soft no matter how many days in a row I use it. With no breakage. So I don't have to use heat protector. Win/win for me.
