I know everyone thinks he's a complete asshat, but you need to remember that Revali was training his entire life to become the best at what he does, and then a kid pulls a sword and becomes the most valuable asset to Hyrule. And I highly doubt being trapped in a divine beast for 100 years helped.

I wish he had a better "section" though. Zora's Domain, for example, had such a long story, starting with the Zora looking for a Hylian to help them, the reveal of Mipha having a crush on Link, getting those lighting arrows, working with Prince Sidon to get into the Divine Beast, and then the actual Divine Beast dungeon. Ruto Village's section took me maybe about 30 mins to finish (before entering the Divine Beast) and the character you're supposed to work together with was forgettable, even more than wimpy old Yunobo for Death Mountain's section... :(

Honestly, people say Revali is such a jerk, and yes, he might be, but I must say if I was in his place I'd be pretty upset too. He's spent his entire life training as a warrior, and perfecting his "Mastery of the Sky". Then he gets called upon by the king to help save all of Hyrule, accepts the job, and then later learns that the only thing he'll be doing is sitting inside a divine beast as it shoots at Ganon for him. It wasn't even that he was jealous that link was the hero, he was annoyed that all he could "really do" after all of his life's training, was sit back and watch some kid who just so happened to be the reincarnation of a hero who wielded a magic sword, kill their common enemy. It's kind of sad. Especially considering he didnt even get to live to see Ganon fall. He died (inside that divine beast) and had to wait 100 years along with the other Champions. (Show him some love. ❤💯💞)

Music often tells us things that words could never say; what I hear it say is that in the end of the song, it longs for the old glory days. Honestly, this made me tear up. Revali is my favourite champion and even my favourite character in Breath of the wild. Sure, he's cocky, (Which makes it very likely that he's a descendant of Falco from star fox, which is a darn cliche joke when talking about Revali.) He also hide's behind a coat of honor, which I like about him and said honour can be heard in his theme.

I like Revalis theme most. I think compared to the other champion themes, this one is a perfect mix out of calming music and adventures music and I think it fits Revali so much. He always seems like an total a-hole, but he's a good soul after all and if you try to understand him you really begin to like him and feel what he felt. His character is one of the most human-like in the whole game and it freshens everything up. It brought life, true feelings and true frustration that every human goes through into the story. In the end, even if one hates Revali, that proves that he made it as a big character. You see when people have big feelings, thoughts or disscusions about a character it shows how well involved this character truly is in the story. It goes to the point where we love or hate them as much as real human beings and thats way more important than a character that always smiles and never says anything against the beloved main character. Because the ones you will remember are never the quiet and boring ones, but rather the ones you felt the most love, hate or other big emotions for. Well as for me, I will never associate Revali with a character that I hate, because hes so human-like that I can fully sympathize with him in every way, thats why hes my favorite champion.
