I found Purple Panda mics to be very sensitive. Great sounding as a lapel mic. My best mic was the first ebay cheapo I bought for $2 and it never distorted. My Rode is far too sensitive. I'm going to get another Ebay Cheapo mic. That Top Box will be awesome.

I too do a purple panda and gopro7 , it might just be where you attach it. I stuff mine in the cheek pad and not the clip. Hope you enjoy my last video!
