Gene Gene could really bring down the house with his dancing and the audience would be cheering him on and dancing along with him, but Gene rocked on The Gong Show, and Chuck was funny as well

Been a fan since since those original days. The gong show was a wake n bake ritual. Sad irony he had diabetes in later life and both legs amputated at the knees. God bless you Gene Gene! You are remembered!! Btw the song is Jumpin on the Woodside” Everyone Dance!!!

That guy had the moves. I got exhausted watching him dance at the end. Great 1st entry.

Great to see this tribute to a great soul. One correction: The Count Basie tune is not One O'Clock Jump. It is "Jumpin at the Woodside." The Gong Show Band was made up of some very hot players and they did the Basie tune Solid Justice every time.
