It makes sence if Catherine is still going through treatment. In June she said she had several months of treatment left , several probably ment more than two so she may still be having treatment until October, he wouldn't want to leave her for a long period especially as he will be going to the event in South Africa later in the year. Why would he desperate for a reconciliation? Because he knows he is nothing without the RF. His lifestyle is way above his means and if he doesn’t worm his way back in to the family his future is very bleak. His actions prove he has no love for his family or repentance for his behaviour.

I'm sure it's painful for Harry not being able to be with his family during these trying times. Guess I'll have to keep saying this until people realize it's true, All the attacks on Catherine and Charles were from TW, often blindsiding Harry, in order to fuel her pleasure for creating pain and to increase her control over Harry by burning every possible bridge with his family.
