I feel they just wanted a dinobot character to represent an ankylosaur for Not-Dinoking(Volcanicus) and Skarr was the closest candidate they had.

Im so glad Skarr turned out to be an Ankylosaur because that means Dinoking is all but confirmed at this point.

Totally getting Scarr,Swoop, and Ironhide since that awesome Ankylosaurus Dinobot has gotten me into collecting all the Core Dinobots when Core Snarl comes out soon :D I love being a Core enthusiast.

In fact, they spelled Skar differently, into S-C-A-R-R, to avoid confusion to Doubledealer's Decepticon Powermaster of the Same name, Glad Scarr could get his First Toy, i got this info on TFWiki.

I think the entire season one cast should now have had figures, but it’d be cool to see some of season 2 and 3 as well. I’m personally hoping for Depth charge and Rampage sometime in legacy.

It sure is a Core Class Bonanza. I can't wait to get my hands on Core Ironhide, Scarr, and Swoop. Which means I'm still aiming to buy that Core Ratchet anytime soon.

Honestly thought Scarr would be a type of Raptor but I’m not complaining very rare to see an ankyosaurid dinobot SG Grimlock looks dope and from what I hear it’s actually decently priced so W Swoop and Ironhide look cool too but ima pass on em

The repaint of the classica grimlock was a decepticon named Overkill

Snarl looks great, love the Stegosaurus mode, SG Grimlock looks cool but don't know if I'll get it and 86 Ironhide looks alright. Core Swoop looks great (reminds me of the FOC version for some reason) and Skarr is cool too.

I really hope that in the Third Half of Legacy we get a G1 Style Scorn for a leader class and maybe a leadr class Scarr as well because ankoleosaurus are awesome and would wok great that way Also if we were to get a Legacy Slash she should be Deluxe class because she is a raptor and smaller than the other Dinobots Like if you agree or tell me if you don't

I really likke SS Grimlock, he is my favourite Dinobot so far. But i might give in and Shattered Glass Grimlock, who'll be my first Shattered Glass figure. Snarl looks really good, ill get him first chance i get. Now the Core Class. Ironhide looks great, the mold changes are good & so is the colour. When i first got my Ratchet i was playing with him almost non stop the first few days. Skar looks great, bit chunky in Beast Mode. He might have the best Robot mode out of the core class Dinobots. His weapon looks odd in beast mode, but its nice he has a good sized weapon. But Swoop on the other hand i think i like more than Skar. He looks cute in beast mode. His robot mode is really well designed, little to no kibble. The combiner hand splitting into 2 blasters is genius! Of cource though, the moment rumors started going around that Hasbro was making Core Class combining Dinobots, i was mentally committed to getting them all regardless of how they looked. Im not missing out on a Core Class combiner. I also really want Dinoking too.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if these toy reveals are to distract us from the news of Hasbro’s bad financial reports a few days ago. Especially since Power Rangers fans also got some “leaks” for Cosmic Fury.

I dont like that hasbro only cares about g1,kingdom was supposed to be the 86 cast line but they decided they should do something for the anniversary of beasties
