I think that it is Mackenzie because of many reasons, the ear flop, the color scheme, and the fluff. Bluey is not very fluffy and neither is Jean Luc. So if they were the parents the pup wouldn’t be fluffy. Mackenzie is fluffy so the pup could get that from him. Mackenzie’s ear flops but not the whole way just like the pup’s ear. Personally I think it is Bluey and Mackenzie’s #Boy

I think it’s Jean Luc. Bluey visited her parents and it’s implied she doesn’t come by often (“what a pleasant surprise!”) because she lives far away. Of the two, Jean Luc is more likely to convince Bluey to relocate as he lives in Canada.

I think it’s McKenzie because if you look closely the little pup has the pattern of Bluey but some of the colors look like McKenzie and there is fur on the neck like McKenzie on the present and in the episode space

In these kind of speculations, people love to bring up that the new pup has one floppy ear. What no one seems to remember is that Uncle Stripe has the same thing; one upright ear and one floppy ear. It could just be a gene that that pup inherited from the Heeler family, and not something they *definitely* got from their father. I'm also not ruling out the possibility of that pup actually belonging Bingo... Or even Muffin or Socks!

It’s very confusing. The creators keep hinting it to be Jean Luke and even cross referencing bluey and Jean Luke’s first interaction with bluey’s parents first interaction and basically saying that they will be together forever when they grow older. But then when you look up the breeds that are mixed between blue heelers with border collies and blue labradors, blueys child has much more features from a blue heeler/Border collie mix. So it’s very hard to figure it out but I think it’s Mackenzie. But Jean like being the father wouldn’t bother me anyway because they’re all adorable.

I would say it could quite possibly be jean-luc, but its not only blue/dark blue/light blue. It has a spot that is clearly black, so i think its Mackenzie. And jean-luc only appeared in one episode.

I think the Jean-Luc ship carries more emotional weight, the Mackenzie one is a bit predictable Bluey literally met Jean-Luc by chance, didn’t even speak his language, and they still played, they held hands and hugged, and literally cried over their separation. Chili’s comment about special people coming into our lives really sealed the deal though. And the chance encounter years later by the tree they planted. Now THATS romance. The Mackenzie story is just a stereotypical cliché school sweetheart romance. And they could just be friends for all we know… boy-girl friendships should be normalized. And despite being present in her life over a more prolonged period, it’s the quality that counts more than the quantity; Bluey and Jean-Luc had a really strong bond over a few days and he even showed up again in drawings, whereas Mackenzie, though friends with her over a longer period of time, was more like a regular friend.

Here’s the thing. Based off of in real life genes, McKenzie would be the father of bluey’s puppy. Why? Well, there is a fluff of fur around its neck…just like McKenzie. But, people are confused, “Then WHY would the puppy have sort of the same color as John Luke?” Well, the black fur of McKenzie, would probably mix colors with bluey’s fur. Also, in addition to that, neither John Luke OR Bluey’s fur has WHITE fur. So, in my opinion, it’s obvious McKenzie is the father. :D (EDIT: #boy)
