watching yall from argentina.... been living here for 13 ys, but you know what they say: You can take the boy out of Texas, but you cant take Texas out of the boy. I believe the plant hardiness zone down here is 10a, but not sure.... either way, its a subtropical climate pretty much the same as anything you can find in the deep south and down to central florida. Any unique suggestions of what i should add next to my garden?

Jacques mic needs to be turned up a lot more next time. Even though you turned his mic up all those times, at times, you couldn't hear him as well as we heard you talking. Also, please could you show the seed packages a little closer for us to see them better for us people who don't have 20/ 20 vision.

I grew balsam once, several years ago, and it will outlive me in the garden. It is an avid reseeder, like intense, but stays in it's lane. The seeds pods pop open with purpose and they get some good distance, but it's not been a problem, easy to pull when you're weeding. I normally hate plants that reseed, but I look forward to this one every year. They also get a couple feet tall or more and like to grow thick, so fills in the area nicely.

I’m sure you already know this Jacque but for others who don’t , you can cut up the rest of your celery bunch and freeze it for later use in your stew or sauces. They don’t have to go to waste if you only needed a couple of fresh stalks for eating.

Oooooh! I didn’t know this- thank you ❤

Yes! And there's a leafy, perennial celery that adds the same flavor without stalks.

Best tip I’ve learned for cooking Brussels sprouts: heat the oven to 450F and preheat your sheet tray with some oil. Take it out and quickly put halved sprouts face down before going back in the oven. They will get super crispy!

Kevin: have you thought about growing a viburnum shrub in place of the horsetail by your outdoor shower? You can grow it into a tree but I think a shrub will work. You would need to prune it often so it’s not growing into the walkways and blocking your path or let it grow tall into a multi-trunk tree. The flowers are a pollinator magnet and the size of the flower heads are massive. And the foliage is beautiful as well. Anyone who’s unfamiliar with your garden layout would be surprised to find an outdoor shower behind it because the tree/shrub already serves a purpose from sight alone. Good luck in your garden and keep on growing! ✌🏼

Thank you for going through all the new seeds. Definitely some good ones in there I will be trying. I know the horsetail rush can be naughty but it makes such a beautiful backdrop for the video with the screen behind it. The moment Jacques figured out what Kevin was actually referring to about the hand “demonstration” of the flower opening when he was talking about the lacy phacelia was priceless and made me laugh out loud. It reminds me of my husband when I point out a funny second meaning to something he said or did, it takes him a minute or sometimes I actually have to explain.😂😂😂. Which ends up sending me into even more giggles when he blushes as he figures it out.
