Oh Mira, I am truly glad that you started down this road of experience and growth! I love tulips and roses because you can change the colors and use the same references for different paintings! I hope you continue to create and work on projects that you love. Please record the painting process and create videos as you go! I have started painting with soft pastels to break away from my “style” work looser and with more spontaneity! Good Monday morning Mira! Just a note to express my heartfelt jealousy. Through that jealousy of your ease with that medium, my original love of acrylic painting, is starting to make me itch to return to it again. After my self professed failure at it years ago, I turned to mixed media with a heavy influence in watercolor. Since finding your channel, I find myself adding more acrylic details in my work and rediscovering that love more and more! I hope to redevelop at least a part time relationship with acrylics, whether on it's own as a true focus, or by strengthening my use of them even more in my current mixed media projects.
