My friend, I am very very grateful to you and thank you for all the information you provide.. But a piece of advice from 3 years of experience, pleace leave oil and trade the Dow Jones (YM), it is awesome and applies your strategy better than even the NQ and ES. I wish all the best for you.

Riley I just want to say that I really appreciate your openness to both winning and losing trades. I have trades that I take and have them stop me out just over my stop loss. Then turn and I would’ve had a great trade. I always think that I did something wrong but to see your trades sometimes do that as well gives me the hope to keep going and learn from it. Thank you and can’t wait for your January trade review👌🏻

Recently wanted to learn how to trade so I have been watching A LOT of trading KZbinrs the past week or so. I have come across many of them who are posting so much valuable information, but one thing I really appreciate the most with your content is that you go into detail with not only your wins, but your losses also. So many other trading KZbinrs only explain their trades that win, but as a beginner trader, I am glad I can learn from both the positives and negatives of trading. Thank you!

You’re one of the most transparent traders on KZbin. Just by watching you, I have become more successful, just with these small details that you teach that I might’ve known about but I just somehow didn’t think they were as important at the time Also, this idea of just trading the price action, I think is the way to go versus a bunch of indicators I got onto that idea a while ago, and I agree with you it’s way better for just trading price action and going with the ebb in the flow of the markets And admitting if you’re wrong, then you were wrong, that’s just part of Trading and then you move on Thank you so much for the videos. Keep them coming. I am a fan. Thank you.

I've been watching the more recent videos and shorts. This video could not have come at a more perfect time. Currently trying to tackle 5 EVAL accounts and last week I had a good week but this week has been red trade after red trade. The only green trades I took were so small. When you said you sometimes need time to reset and take a week off and go on another streak that hit me. I had sooo much confidence having 8 green days in a row. Time to reflect go over my trades see my good ones plan how to make them better and focus on the big picture and not be result driven.

@braddistler56978 ай бұрын
Hint I can help you with one thing. You should take profit at the measured move or 200% level. Most occasions it’ll go 2-300% then reverse. Take one contract off at 100% then another at 200% and leave one runner at 100% mark. Not break even. This alone will help your win loss a ton. Leaving whole trade on just sucks. Adding to position as it goes sucks too. Simulator showed me how much better it is to enter with larger amount taking profit vs building a position. Next few years should be choppy so I’d refrain from adding to runners. Can also exit at 200% and put another entry at 50% pullback with stop at bottom still. This will save half the pullback but give another Chance at big run again.
@angeliaputri18 ай бұрын
Wow cool, thanks for sharing, but I usually use the unfilled order strategy in the nfc community.
@braddistler56978 ай бұрын
Great content and you show pl! Once again the trade at 32:00 you need to take profit at the 1:1 measure move of breakout candle. Should only have one contract on after that low was made, then stop pulled down to 50% in profit. It’s basic math and puts your win loss to minimum of 1/3. Last contract left to run takes that to 1/10 -1/20 real quick. Hurts to see you not take profit and leave runner below break even. Took years for me to learn the key is not ever loosing not shooting for the stars. Yeah only one contract or 1/3rd of initial left to run so profit weakens but it’s all winners.
@martinsdaudu19415 ай бұрын
You're making so much sense. I wish this was more clearly explained
@braddistler56975 ай бұрын
Happy I helped. Seems like good trades come from understanding certain things about probabilities. I went from butt kicked to profitable just from adding contracts and learning to pay throughout. Never add to position unless trendline and wave in and out of half position. I’m greedy I’ll exit long at top of trendline and short on it with tight stop. After few touches it’ll break so have to be ready for breakout strategy. Either short close of a candle or enter breakout tick above previous candle or an engulfing candle. That’s it. No other entries besides trendline or ema entries. Good daily trade is when away from 20ema for 30min or more the first touch of that 20ema has nice bounce. Take profit early and set few tick stop for runner. Only one chance to grab the touch back and if gives more than one or two chances to enter on that 20 I get out anticipating a breakout. That stuff takes hrs on charts to see same rule with trend lines. Stuffs into wicks above them won’t come off of it. It’s gonna break through.

1 advise that you could put in your strategy is to enter twice in a trade if it hits your stop, i give the market 2 trys if i get stopped out but then if the market gives me another set up i will get in. Because even you already have a loser that second attempt will get your loser back and extra cash in your pocket.

Hello Riley, I follow you for a while and I like your strategy except your risk management. I trade options very similar, except that when I have profit I move myself to beak even (ALWAYS). If the move is not in your favor and it knocks you out, at least you are break even and not loosing money. If the move in in your favor, then you will make more money because you don't have to recover previous loses. Remember the rule #1 of a good trader is not to make money but to protect your capital. Thanks for your videos.

anyone ever shot every green candle close or buy any red close that’s in range of trendline or supper/res levels? It’s stupid but when apply a win loss strategy it works wonders. I get 3 contracts then exit one at 50% pullback of prev candle body not wick. Take profit at 100% of body then pit stop to break even at bottom of body not wick of previous candle and let third run for free. When it breaks out your first in and have tons of free time in market to let it do its thing. Only problem is when it reverses and stops me out I should be entering short! But now I’d enter one tick below candle which can reverse and whip you out being on wrong side of trade I just did since I should be going opposite of trend of candle not with it. But it broke out so follow it and then it whips back and take me out a whole candle stop loss not a tick or two. If visual you’ll know this is from expanding volatility or larger candles printing going high and lower each print. Hate the megaphone shape unless respects trendlines and makes huge breakout.
