As a first time mum myself and found out the hard way you don’t want to confuse Rome when it’s nap time so best thing to do is to not let him nap in the same place he sleeps at night and not in a sleep sack but a little blanket ovbs supervised and to keep it light not dark as they can get confused with night time and day time, hope this helps💙💙

I’m with you on this! My boy is nearly 7 months now and we only put him to sleep in his bed of a nighttime. He sleeps roughly 8-10 hours a night as he knows his bed is for a sleep not a nap, and during the day we don’t let him sleep in his bed. It does definitely confuse them as if we were to put my son in his bed during the day he wouldn’t sleep of a night time due to not knowing the difference between naps and bedtime. (sorry for rambling)💙

Hi Erin, lovely car. Little Rome is just adorable. When my boys were babies I had mine sleep in a crib downstairs in the daytime for the first few months and then by my bed at nighttime. I transferred mine to the cot in their own rooms at 6 months. It’s parental choice at the end of the day what works best for your baby and you as a family. Back when my last baby was born 14 years ago they didn’t have the sophisticated baby monitors/cameras that they have now which look amazing so you can keep a good eye on your baby whilst napping with apps that alert you. There is so much better nursery things out there now for peace and mind and safety. Sending lots of love your way xxx 🥰

Hey lovely, your doing amazing! Personally I found with my baby that I let him nap of course through out the day but not as such in the dark or in the bedroom/cot. Also if you ever go out somewhere during the day he will get so used to napping in his cot, dark and silence he might not nap anywhere else. I let him nap in daylight In his Moses basket so that when it comes to bedtime he knows straight away, the darkness, white noise and cot means bedtime. Since I’ve started doing this and put in a bedtime routine (bath,bottle,bed 9pm every night) he has been sleeping throughout the whole night sometimes he wakes up once or sometimes he goes till morning. It’s really helped but every baby and parent are different. See what works best for you guys ❤

As long as the straps on the cybex are level with or just behind romes shoulders you can use the cybex safely, with the pixel Pro if there's no button at the top to move the headrest down and the straps are above his shoulders without the block you'll just need to keep the block in until he can sit in it without the block and the straps are level with his shoulders, most car seats have a button at the very top that move the headrest up and down, the straps are connected to the headrest if that's the case so then you just move it so the straps are level with or just below his shoulders and the headrest will be right too, hope this helps but feel free to ask me any questions x

For you carseat the block part, take the cover off and there is 2 separate padding inside use the bigger part first then eventually use the smaller one, also at the side there is a pocket which has got padding in it which you can take out

When my son was about 5/6 months I made it a thing to put him down awake after his night bottle and ever since he goes down awake he cried the first couple of times but soon he adapted to make it in his own routine

So for us when we got home it took a while to get into a routine but when he was romes age we did 2 naps one in the morning at 9ish and then another nap and 12/1 ish the wake window should be 3/4 hours and then a sleep. Then we have always always done bath at 7.30 and then bed at 8 and he’s always slept through he’s 2 now! And still the same routine just an afternoon nap now ❤

Also to add he always napped in a next to me or if we were out it was in that carry cot in the pram and when he turned 1 it was in the cot in our room for a month then straight in his room xx
