The oak paneling with its rich history and provenance was an exceptional purchase at 4,500 euros. As you mentioned, using the existing wallpaper with its period style, colors and strong connection to the room’s past to cover the open unpaneled areas of wall seems an ideal option. I’d definitely call it an eye-pleasing and chateau-worthy marriage of material and media….the perfect union.

You see and hear different from me. I hear constant praise for what Marie does. Everyone in her company, while she prepares, show their intrigue with what she is creating. And Stephanie includes the visual experience when dinner is served, and her comments of amazement on just about every video. What more appreciation could there be?? And lm sure she is being rewarded more than adequately for her expertise cos she is obviously a big part of the attraction for their guests.

Since Michael Petherick is your friend, perhaps he can draw a mouse for you, just as he did for the organ at the convent. Mrs. Moon, from the channel, 'The Moons,' made a little figurine of the mouse, Pip, that Michael drew. Perhaps, she can create a model of your mouse to place in the mouse hole in your renovated room.

La Tour D'Argent was also made famous on the early 70's era TV show in the US, Gilligan's Isle, as the restaurant that the wealthy Thurston Howell III proposed to his wife, Lovey. This restaurant was the epitome of fine dining and was mentioned many times wistfully. A recreation of it was even made on the deserted island the people in the show were stranded on. As they couldn't leave the island, the restaurant came to them.

The new panels look beautiful and it’s good to know that Amaury will be able to devote more time and energy to being a master carpenter and the work he loves. Lancelot may just have a blocked tear duct but only in Spring time with the pollen etc, lets hope it heals itself with time. A bit of advice Stephanie from an old Lady with long fine straight hair. I always use a tiny amount of pure Almond oil on my hair once a week as a treatment, just on the hair not the scalp leave overnight and wash it in the next morning as curling tongs can dry and split the hair shaft if used too often on fine thin hair. Live all tge restoration work, Marie's meals and all at LaLande, thank you 💕🇦🇺

Oh, Stephanie, the new paneling is beautiful and what a score. Wow! I like the plan for Chambre Perse. It will be magnificent. I'm so glad that you've decided to free up Amaury to focus on his passion, the initial reason for coming to Lalande. I think he will be much happier. This might free him up to help Chantel and Steve too. I can't believe that they won't need a hand with getting settled in their new home. Never mind the fact that he's their son, who could say 'no' to those two? They're more lovable than Lancelot. Marie, I probably sounding a bit redundant, but your meals are masterful. I would love to be in attendance.👍 Every meal is a triumph. Beside a tick, little Lancelot has 'ants in his pants.' He does love attention. I think you might be spoiling him. You meaning Stephanie, Philip, Marie, Annalise, and everyone who come with five feet of him. He's also a love magnet. Who doesn't want to just snuggle with him? The tango is such a sensual dance. The Argentine tango is my favorite style. When danced properly, it can be as enjoyable to watch as participate. It does take some though. What an enjoyable episode. I'm so pleased and excited about the amazing progress and forward momentum at the Château. ❤ from TX!

Chihuahuas, as with any small friendly dog, want to be part of the action. While it is incredibly important that they stay connected to the ground, it might be less distracting to put him in his shoulder carrier for when you're in conversation. It's calmer and less wearing on his little legs and will make his back and legs last longer as he grows old. Just a tip from a long time owner/handler of the little guys.

I don't disagree with what you're saying, but he's not a chihuahua

@missmartylynn, You do realize that Lancelot is a praque ratter, not a chihuahua?

If you put soft/gel hand soap on a cotton ball and rub it around on the tick while keeping the cotton ball in place against the tick, when you pull the cotton ball away from the dog, the tick will come with it. At least it works with humans. I’ve never tried it on a dog.

My daughter had the same problem when she was born The doctor kept advis😮ng surgery but I put a warm wet washcloth twice a day and eventually the duct matured. She kind of liked the warmth.
