You guys started dating mad young. I don't think the timing is off at all as far as maturity level. Also, growing up without money I know what it's like to want to have everything you couldn't when you start having money. It took me years to understand that I could have more by being responsible and pacing my spending. Now I have a dream car, a beautiful home (working towards the dream home) and a successful business. It takes time and you guys have such a long time to move towards your dreams. Thanks for sharing with us. PS: It's a marathon not a sprint (words by a wise woman on this channel)

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how real and raw this is and the fact that this is what’s more realistic and honestly a very good thing! Y’all didn’t rush in even though everyone around you and especially our generation(s) pressures into getting married and having kids like literally right after high school! Half of my friends and people I went to school with have like 2-3kids and some are married or some already got divorced and they’re barely 21-23… I think that’s crazy and we live in a society that just pressures everyone into all these unrealistic expectations. Not to mention the fact that getting engaged and married costs money!

Same thing happened to me and my husband we learned early on that we can't focus on buying video games and PS5s we needed to focus on getting out of his parents house. One year later and he was able to understand like now you can have what you want because we have a house of our own and we can buy those things now but coming out of his parents house was the first priority. It's a normal thing people have to go though it's part of growing up. Nothing wrong with that just as long as you keep growing as a person.

No one wants to waste their time. Time is the most precious thing that we have. I'm new to the channel and I don't know you both that well BUT from your videos that I saw, I can say that one thing that I love is how you mentioned that materialistic things don't matter. It's 1000% true that materialistic things matter. My past relationships didn't go anywhere which is why I left them, they weren't working towards a future and so that's why I left. I didn't want to wait, he wasn't really making any intiative but me personally, I wanted a future. I'm sharing this because I can relate.

My husband and we were 14 and him 15 I got pregnant at 17 got married at 18 and we were dummy’s for getting married at such as young age we didn’t have our lives Together we didn’t have money we had our ups and downs mistakes and we aren’t perfect couple and we will never be but it’s best the way y’all did it god was guiding you Isaiah to have that perfect engagement timing 😊❤

Isaiah's story about him spending unnecessary money reminded me of my recent ex. He'd spend a crazy amount of money on Amazon on things he didn't need. But I stayed with him because I loved him and wanted to be with him. But he ended breaking up with me instead. So we don't get the happy ever after like you two do.
