Revelation 1:9-18 - What Does Jesus Look Like?

We all, as Christians, should be looking toward and forward to Heaven. I spoke to a Catholic friend during the week whose husband had died the week before. During the conversation I told her that he was in a better place, and she fervently disagreed, saying that there was no better place than home with family. She didn’t feel he was in a better place because to her a better place is here. That made me so, so sad. It broke my heart for her because she obviously puts no credence in Heaven.

Isn't it sad that we who were born with sight are taught to think of "looks" as physical attributes and color coordination. What does love "look" like? We see it with our spirit. What does truth look like? C'mon people, he did a good job by NOT trying to put our worldly way of thinking on Jesus. He looks like Love, Truth, power, mercy, grace...he is altogether lovely.

Saturday is actually the Sabbath. The Catholic religion changed it to Sunday. Saturday is the Lords day.

@@freeman7566 Christians do not have a Sabbath DAY. Jesus is the Sabbath rest as EVERY day is Holy. Sunday is the Lord's Day because Jesus rose on Sunday. There is NOTHING to change, and people need to study the Bible and learn these truths.. Jesus' return is imminent.. There is nothing to "push", but rather you'd be laughed at for not knowing the truth..
