I was looking for the Restoration and I was lead by the Holy Spirit when I was preaching a sermon in the Baptist Church to get a Book of Mormon. Everybody knows that the planet Jupiter is named after the chief Roman god, what people dont know is the meaning of the name. Jupiter which by the way the Roman's spelled Iupiter and pronounced Youpiter is actually a compound word made up by the Sanskrit root Diu and the Sanskrit word piter, the first word Diu conveys the meaning of brightness, daylight, splendor, but also heaven, so it can be interpreted as bright heavens, the second word, piter resembles the Latin word Pater and it means father. So when you put the two words together you have heavenly father who shines, or luminous heavenly father. Interestingly, the root word Diu is related to the root word Deus (god in Latin) which means breath of life. So in ancient Latin Deus meant "one who gives breath". So Iupiter meant bright heavenly life giving father. Note: I Iearned this in a philology class when I was in college.

It's too bad your understanding of the word is in error. Like the man has said September is the month that shows signs and appointed times, such as this. You and he both are looking at the wrong planet. Christ was born on Tishri 1, the beginning of a new year, with the exact sign as decreed in Revelation. However, Venus is the planet, she and others enter Leo while several of the planets patterns can be viewed. Some at the chest and some at the mouth. But is is Venus that is the time keeper, she has a large retrograde motionthat leaves the hind feet (scripture states as the Star of Jacob 1st mention) Venus then exists Leo heading toward Virgo but then verge's toward Crater the cup - marking this as the Cup of Christ - even sitting on the rim for a few days just prior to the birth of Christ, Venus then moves off to head back to Leo and then swings around and heads to Virgo. There is alot more I have not said but have the evidence this is very accurate, evidence from Herod's annuals, from scripture, from the Magi's true travels and nation to the dates of Christ's birth, the correct census. One more thing, are you aware that God divorced Israel and Judah in 70ad at the destruction of the Temple for their sins and breaking the covenant he had with thiers fathers in the wilderness. Christ is not coming in the clouds, he did come but it was in 70ad, and we are in the 2000 years God gave for reconciliation. Christ is supposed to live within you, well that is "IF", you are born again, most people have no idea of what born again means. That is is overcoming of your owns fleshly desires to overcome it. If you have not mastered those desires of the flesh, the spirit and the flesh are in a battle all the time. It must be overcome or you will see heaven and will be cast away. I certainly don’t want to dominate the comments here, but I think it’s important to point out a few things that have come to my mind as I have tried to gain a greater understanding of these things. First, the sign in the heavens that John saw and prophesied of could not possibly have been in 1827. Why? Because we know from modern revelation in the D&C that John chapter 12 is speaking to things that happen in the 7th Seal. 1827 was in the 6th Seal. There really is no way of getting around this unless one suggests that the 7th Seal was opened in 1827, and not even the author of this video suggests that. Secondly, the author admits himself that two of the three planets that were clearly in Leo in 2017, making up the 12 stars of the crown, were not in Leo but closer to Virgo in 1827. The author actually says that in the video. While I appreciate his enthusiasm and good intentions to point out something that may have been significant in 1827, it was not and could not be the sign spoken of by John which was prophesied by him to happen in the 7th Seal. Sorry! Don’t mean to be critical or a party pooper! I was excited at first when I heard these things. But under further study of the details, they simply cannot be. September 23, 2017 was the sign spoken of by John. Kudos though for catching the Dragon being a serpent in the Constellation Serpens! Well done! For he is surely right there waiting to devour the man-child, which is the Kingdom of God. And we know the Kingdom of God is different than the Church of God, which was established on April 6th, 1830. The sign in 2017 indicated the birth of the Kingdom of God.

Revilation 12 is about the past and the future . John saw the ark of the covenant which had not been seen for four hundred years during the rule of Babylon but then he saw a woman standing on the moon clothed in the sun and a crown of 12 stars ( John the apostle who had been exiled to the island of potmos was writing about what he saw this woman was born of juda great great great grandaughter of king David princess and now Queen of heaven and as in Luke she says all nations shale call me blessed . Then he sees how Satan the dragon desires to destroy Mary and the child through the antichrist king Herod but Joseph was told by the angel to get up and take Mary and the child into Egypt where they stayed for almost 5 years in a place we now call Cairo . And when Herod cound not find the child in Bethlehem he sent his shoulders to destroy over 140000 boys between the age of 9 months and 3 years old. And Rachel wept for her grandchildren the first to die for Christ the holy innocents . Then John recalls how Christ sit on high to rule as king with a Iron fist so Satan has lost but goes after the woman his mother and mother of gods children but she is protected and at around eighty years of age she is laid in her toumb which is in Jerusalem still today but they returned two days later and she was gone ( the dormition ) this is well known thousands of years ago " she was taken up on eagles wings " and her off spring are those who claim our lord Jesus Christ and. ( Obey the father's commandments). So John knew what had happened. Even when Jesus siad to John while on the cross "John behold your mother ". He knew that Jesus' s mother was taken up into heaven . For those watching, the "Rev 12 sign" will repeat in September 16-17. Jesus will come and gather His trusting Bride - the Bride is a subset of the Body, and some believers will be left behind (Rev. 12:17). The "great tribulation" of Rev. 2:22 is immediately after the rapture and only lasts about ten weeks, and then The Dragon begins his 42-month Reign of Global Terror (Rev. 13:5). 1,335 days after Messiah Jesus confirms His covenant (Dan. 9:27) with the true Jews, the Dragon will be destroyed and blessing will begin (Dan. 12:12). After three years of clean-up and Temple building (described in Ezekiel 40-41), the reconciliation itemized in Daniel 9:24 will be completed, the fall feasts will be fulfilled and the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ will begin. That will be in October 2030. Rapture on Tishri 3. Daniel's 70th week begins this October. Wrath lasts 42 months, not seven years.

As a very young member of the Church I remember reading one comment about this whole thing and following interpretation: Woman represents the Church, 12 stars Apostles, Child is Son of God, fleeing to the Desert - Apostasy. Dragon the devil persecuting the Church! No one ever mentioned any dates or symbols in Heaven. I even asked Heavenly Father in fervent prayer which Church is this mentioned in the Book of Revelation and got my testimony for Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to be the only Church with fulness of the Gospel on Earth today. It is the Church of the Firstborn, Ancient Church of Christ it doesn't matter it is one same Church - God's Church!

Loved this. Thanks for putting this together. I read a few of the comments and have to say I find it odd that some seem almost terrified that a member of the church can dare think for himself and put some ideas together to help others think and encourage more study. I found it enlightening and appreciate the effort to put these things together. I am perfectly capable of checking up on the quotes and praying for more clarification on my own. The one part that gave me a little pause was the mention of 1260 years. You were right, I was doing the math in my head! But then the thought came that we often think of the "millennium" as being 1000 years and that's it. But remember Satan will be bound for 1000 years, and then gets one last chance. That could easily account for the extra years in this prophecy! Everything in me tells me the Savior will come soon....whatever that means in years. Remembering what happens at the END of the millennium helps this all make sense. Thanks again!

That would add 260 years of war after the Mil, after the telestial bodies are raised. (260 being a holy number for Mayans, but that's trivial). Anyway, if you think about it, we will be immortal and glorified beings, so 260 years is not really much. It might be that another 1/3 will fight for Satan for his last stand, thus fulfilling for a another time the revelation of the dragon dragging the stars.

Interesting presentation. I will point out one thing. By definition, the sun being at Virgo’s shoulder means that it will only occur in the fall. Also by definition having the moon at Virgo’s feet while having the sun at her shoulder will only happen at the time of the appearance of the new moon. So this falling on the first day of the seventh month or feast of trumpets will happen about 2 out of every 3 years. My point is that these are not independent variables. I need to update my above response. If the moon is at the feet of Virgo and the sun is at her shoulder or above, this will only occur on the day -after- the feast of trumpets. The feast of trumpets begins when the new moon is sighted in Jerusalem.

@@keerdor2763 - If you read the original Doctrine & Covenants which is "the book of Commandments," you will see that joseph smith did in fact add and take away the words of Christ. That is considering the book of Commandments ever contained the words of Christ in the first place, which I do not believe they do. Joseph smith was a Seer, and did translate the book of Mormon which is the gospel of Christ. However, very soon after he went astray from the path of God (I'm assuming he was decieved for his sake), with false doctrines. 1- Coma Berenices (here 11:00 above Virgo's head) used to be the tuft of Leo's tail and it's comprised of 3 stars, so Leo always has 12 stars. 2- Galatians 1.8 "But though we, or *an angel from heaven,* preach *any other gospel* unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." (God knew what was gonna happen centuries later). 3- Mark (of the beast): "5480 xáragma - *properly, an engraving (etching);* (not an action nor thought). 4- Genesis 3.5 "For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and *ye shall be as gods,* knowing good and evil" (look at what the serpent used to deceive Eve). The question to ask here is: Why change what "mark" means and claim that it is something else than what it literally is? I'd say it's related to the 4th point here. Proof? Google: "Islamic Second Coming of Jesus" and browse around and see how they say that "he" will "make a 7 year pact with christians and then break it midway" to deceive them. They also say that the "angel Gabriel" gave Muhammed their book...

I normally NEVER watch You-tube videos on interpretations of scripture especially on the Book of Revelation and "signs" but I actually really appreciate this video as you used the Prophet Joseph Smith and the Restoration to interpret these events. There are so many false last days teachers coming out of the woodwork and applying false interpretations to Revelation 12 to a false "end times servant" who is not the Prophet Joseph Smith and leading people away from the revelations contained in scripture. They instead interpret these events through dreams and visions and the writings of John Pontius, visions of Glory, Avraham Gileadi, and others. These people are leading people astray. Thank you.

Not to mention, the Brethren have been very outspoken about the days with which we live; that "time is running out". President Nelson recently said: " we are just building up to the climax of the last dispensation -when the Savior's Second Coming becomes a reality." Yes, there are still a great many signs that still must happen, but there can be no question His coming is imminent according to the Lord's time. Anyone who says otherwise is fooling themselves.

I don't believe that the study manuals ever say that they are the only source of doctrine or what is right. The Church doesn't know everything there is to know about the Second Coming. The Apostles have always said that other religions even have truth in them. They don't tell us to limit our studies to things you can find on the Church's website. There is nothing wrong with looking around and finding truth where it is. You don't have to agree with it, but you act as if President Nelson called you and told you that this video is wrong so you have to get on here and crap on every single comment you can find that likes it. Fascinating. I was considering the part of scripture (wish I knew where) mentioned the beast and/or dragon come out of the sea. I wonder if that is referring to a constellation like Draco or serpent. Where if someone is standing on the beach (perhaps in Israel) looking out over the Mediterranean Sea on a clear dark night would see the Draco or serpent constellation coming up over the water's horizon... And this would be a sign that would usher in the corresponding prophecy. I know it's commonly thought of to be referring to China (the country's mascot being the dragon). But thinking about it as constellations instead of countries gives this an interesting new prospective to consider.

The apostasy has already begun. I know a few who were faithful turn away from the faith. Those I know have departed from any faith in God, indulge in vices of the world, and have lost wisdom and light in their opinions. They are less patient, forgiven and quicker to judge than what they were before leaving their faith. Although they still hold in the principle of trying to be good, they now believe that all you need to do is be a good person, and completely dismiss the need for the salvation of Christ. Really sad to see, but fulfilment of prophecy, and I’ve faith that the Lord has a plan for these to bring them back home.

I’m sorry, but I’m having a really hard time accepting most of what has been explained here. My first point is doesn’t anyone actually read what is being read? There is a really big difference between, in HEAVEN, and, in the heavens. Sorry for the all caps but I’m trying to make a point here, verse 1 of chapter 12 says there is a great wonder in HEAVEN not in the heavens which gives it a totally different meaning. I have been saying for nearly 30 years what Chapter 12 is saying and finally someone has finally got it almost right. The woman is the Church of God and the man child is the Kingdom of God and if anyone will slow down and actually read what is being said instead of jumping to conclusions they will see that verse 10 is referring to the the man child of the woman. Chapter 12 is giving a brief, a very brief overview of the history of God’s Church in Heaven to the end of time on this earth. Verse 15 is referring to the flood of false doctrine from Satan, the father of lies to verse 16 which tells of the earth helping the woman and opening its mouth to swallow up the flood. Truth swallows up falsehoods which is what is happening with the coming forth of the Gold Plates and the restoration of God’s true Church. All this talk about the stars in the heavens just takes way the simple beauty of what Chapter 12 is really revealing. Note: The crown is the Priesthood. The stars are the apostles. Clothed with the sun is referring to celestial glory. The moon represents man made churches and the reflected glories they have of God’s true Church, just as the moon does from the sun and they are below God’s true Church.

When I was filled with the spirit, I read Revelations and found a double meaning in the prophecies. If any have an ear, let him hear means to understand the interpretation. Recently this sign has been fulfilled in a much greater and complete way than in 2018. The planet called ‘CHILD’ has been in the womb of the woman for 9 months now. You said that the "Sign" of 1827 is the same as that of September 23, 2017. This is not true. It is easily seen on Stellarium that several of the components are NOT PRESENT, at any time or date approximating 1826, 1827, etc. All of the visible planets travel on the plane which passes by/through the star groups known as Leo and Virgo. The sun and moon do the same. There are thousands of examples of 'some components' but only one example of the complete sign, and that is September 23, 2017.

I think the best way to avoid falling into apostrophe is for sure keeping the commandments, our covenants, and even as important is to follow the prophet. You know, it was kind of bothering me that the alleged sign in the heavens was given on September 23, 1827, but the author of the video- and church history- both state that Joseph Smith received the plates on September 22nd, not the 23rd. Why this discrepancy? The author of the video rightly pointed out God's detailed exactness with the meticulous alignment of every heavenly body in the sky to bring to pass this rare alignment. How could it be that the the sign was not on the same day Joseph received the plates? Well, I thought I remembered reading that Joseph and Emma went at night to get the plates. So, I thought maybe, just maybe, it was so late that it wasn't until past midnight, and therefore, technically, he received the plates on the 23rd. "Late at night, Smith took a horse and carriage to the hill Cumorah with Emma.[79] While Emma stayed behind kneeling in prayer,[80] Smith walked to the site of the buried plates. Some time in the early in the morning hours [which would have been early in the morning of September 23] , he said that he retrieved the plates and hid them in a hollow log on or near Cumorah." Perhaps Joseph did receive the plates on September 23, 1827, the exact day that the sign was given. :-)

He wasn't a snake at the time. He was a serpent. He was never reminiscent of a snake until he was described to have his speech taken away and forced to crawl on his belly. However, even then, he could just as easily be represented as a crocodile. And dragon, serpent, & leviathan aren't actually interchangeable. They uniquely descriptive, though the descriptive nature of the words can be used to describe the same thing, much like "length", "width", & "height". You're also using foreign languages with the interpretations used for that specific language to bend circumstances. The original scriptures are Hebrew, not Latin or English. And not all constellations were used by any given region.

If the 7 years of plenty started on September 23, 2017 then we should look for the feast of trumpets / catching away/ sudden destruction around the feast of trumpets 2023. 7 years of famine should then start in September of 2023, ending with the Lords return on or just before 2030. Another note is that Joseph was betrayed for 20 pieces of silver and Jesus was betrayed for 30 pieces of silver, that is 2030 on our calendar. Thanks!

​ @Gospel Lessons Respectfully, and sorry to say, this does not appear to be an exact alignment in 1827 on Stellarium. The only time its exact is Sept 23 2017. I checked Stellarium. The 3 additional planets(Mercury,Mars, and Venus) that align perfectly in Sept 23rd 2017 do not align perfectly in 1827 nor appear above Virgo's head but rather next to it. In my opinion, The 1827 alignment, should be included in the slide at 12:47 as 1827 was not exact, respectfully. However, I do appreciate the insight on the analysis, especially on the Red Dragon. I had panic attacks back to back on 22 and 23rd sept 2017 , 6 pm IST and it stopped after that. I am free now but the damage happened is never truely recovered. 😂. Still have to deal with body pain and brain inflammation

Just a thought, I understood the the Serpent could also mean Jesus. Moses staff had a Serpent around it representing our Savior, only the righteous were able to look upon in and the wicked turned away.

Yes, duel meanings are all throughout the scriptures. Even the anti-Christ will not be the opposite of Christ, but rather very similar. The serpent beguiled Eve and as you said, the Israelites had to look upon the serpent wrapped around the staff to live... that same symbol being used in modern healthcare today. Yet in this context if you read Revelation 12, it is clear they are talking about Satan. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

That being said (what I said in my previous comment), I wonder if the 1827 alignment is truly the sign. Because if you look closely in Stellarium at the 1827 alignment, you will see that two of the "stars" that make up the woman's crown are not on the crown of her head, but by her shoulder and on her shoulder, and not above her head. They are not part of Leo, and probably cannot be construed as part of the 12 stars in her crown. After all, a crown has to be on top of or above the head, not at the shoulders. It's close, but perhaps no cigar. Not only that, but when the moon is at the woman's feet in 1827, it is about midnight. In 2017, all twelve stars making up her crown are in Leo, and also the moon is at at her feet at precisely sunrise, symbolic of light coming into the world by the birth of the Kingdom of God. I still vote for 2017....

Don't get thrown off by the comic graphic overlays on top of the constellations. If you remove those and just look at the star constellation themselves you will see that the stars are in perfect alignment for a crown. I'm not trying to take anything away from 2017. I think that is a 2nd sign signifying what I mentioned in the video. The precision does matter. Remember that it would be the following day that it was taken into the world...not the day he got them (if we are being precise). When combined with the Jewish holidays and their meaning, etc. I think it is clear as I outlined.

Thanks for your comment. I understand what you mean about the graphic overlays- they should not confused with the actual star configurations. However, the star and planet alignment was still much closer to Leo in 2017. Remember, you yourself had said to beware of being close but not quite. In 1827 the planets were closer to Virgo than Leo, the crown. That being said, it’s remarkable how close it was in 1827. But let’s not forget the big picture here, my friend. The sign was prophesied and given by God to indicate the beginning of the 7 years of tribulation before the Savior’s second coming. That obviously was not in 1827. But it fits perfectly into 2017 with the other signs, such as opening of the 7th Seal in 2000. I do disagree with your assessment that the 22nd is close enough even though it didn’t match the exact day of the sign because the following day the plates went out into the world. In fact they hadn’t gone to the world the next day, and wouldn’t until they were translated and published as the Book of Mormon. One could say that any day for months after he obtained the plates and before the BoM was published could qualify as going into the world. Whether or not the 1827 was a precursor sign, similar to John the Baptist going before Jesus to prepare the way for him, I don’t know. Perhaps it was. But I do know that the sign that God gave us to warn of the impending coming of the Savior and the tribulations that would proceed his return so that we can be prepared was not in 1827, almost 200 years before the 2017 sign. I’m actually trying to support you here on that one by suggesting the plates were not obtained on September 22. Joesph may have left his home to obtain them on the 22nd, but very well may have obtained them after midnight. After all, he did leave for the hill late at night, and the account states he hid them in the log early in the morning. All indications point to him physically receiving them after midnight on the 23rd.

I love your videos. Regardless of is right or not, It has helped me move on from the sleeping stage and look forward to Christ coming. We might be a little off in our guessing or understand but I feel that it is close enough. I believe most characters in the book of revelation are about constellation...God giving us clues of the seasons. Have you watch the dream of Josiah (I think) he explains the horses with man faces and the hair of a woman. It is a constellation that will happen maybe in 2024 ( I think). I would need to watch again, I might be off on the details lol

You've got some explaining to do. Keep reading The Revelation over and over. It has a promise of a blessing. And I hope you will be blessed. I googled dream of Josiah (book about how God dreams up each child and their importance on earth) So you probably have confused the name. About the horses you mention : Rev9: 7&8 describes locusts shaped like horses with faces of men, hair as women. One interpretation is that John is describing a modern day war with modern military equipment. Because he lived in the day of the horse, that is the only way he could describe it. Another possibility is hybrids fighting a war since men are playing with DNA these days. Good luck on your search for truth.

I just looked at stellarium. On 09/23/1827 Mars is in Leo, not Venus and Mercury. That is only 10 stars not 12. Am I missing something here? It’s not the true sign, even though I wished it would have been. The restoration is no doubt in need of it’s own heavenly sign!!

Great presentation. But Jesus mentioned that scripture about his second coming before he was crucified/resurrected. Do you really think that today, He (Christ) does not know when He is coming? According to this presentation, we are still in the 6th seal, still have like 100 years to the second coming, but still the Pres. Nelson is teaching us that the second coming in near and the church is preparing the world for the second coming, but according to this presentation, it won't happen in at least 100 years!

The reference is to their wedding tradition. The Savior has been exalted and likely knows when He will return, but He has always sought the Father's glory and doesn't seek His own glory. The father of the bridegroom traditionally set the wedding in motion, so the Savior used that tradition to teach His apostles and followers about covenants and the signs of His return.

The Scriptures interpret the Scriptures. Revelation 12 relates to the 12th book 2King 11 where Athaliah destroyed the royal seed but Joash (fire of God) was taken away by Jehosheba (God has sworn) since her husband is the high priest Jehoiada (God knows) and hid in the temple for 7 years. [2 Kings 11:1 KJV] And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal. [2 Kings 11:2 KJV] But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons [which were] slain; and they hid him, [even] him and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so that he was not slain.
