I think that saying keeping the sabbath forbids us to leave the house goes against scripture as Jesus was clearly found out and about doing miracles on the sabbath. Please cite scripture for this reference as it's not in the Bible. At least that I'm aware of. Those are Jewish traditions made up by men. Sabbath was made for man not man for sabbath. Not saying I'm a Jew (except for maybe and hopefully a Romans 2:28-29 Jew)and a sabbath keeper but there is much contention over this law. For instance when debating with a pastor over the old testament command for tithing (which has nothing to do with money but I digress) he said we still uphold the law against murder and I would somewhat agree that the law is written in our hearts so we refrain from doing such evil. But does that put us under the law? No we are under grace and the law is written in our hearts so that we obey it out of love. By the spirit and not by the letter. I don't think man can mandate a sabbath as only God has that authority and if we ever see humans trying to impose that sort of thing then something is certainly amiss. But so far Louisiana is merely displaying the commandments, right? Not enforcing them. It is interesting that there is no command to keep the sabbath found in the new testament however the fifth commandment is repeated however: the first commandment with promise. Also you(like many others) even after going over the 10 commandments misrepresent the 10 commandments and add an 11th command don't lie 🤥....that's in the new testament but not one of the 10 commandments

Robert, according to the scriptures, two figures catch my attention in Danyel 12:11 1290 days and Danyel 12:12 1335 days, between them they add up to 7 years, I think it is the 70th week!! Doing the calculation of 80 years per generation from May 14, 1948 results in May 14, 2028. By subtracting 1335 days from that date we obtain September 17 to 18, 2024!

When Rome sanctified Christianity as the new government religion, they had all these statues of Roman Gods all over, and rather than destroy them, they changed them to fit the new Christianity. Athena became Mary, just an example. And later after they read the Bible and actually found this stuff out, they thought it not necessary to honor that. Hense the reason they are hated by so many other Christianic religions. I was a Catholic my whole life til a few years ago.
