I used to teach a twice monthly Bible study in our local jail for the women. Once, after this song came out, I took a group of ladies from our choir and we sang this to the women. I watched an interview with Kari several years ago in which she said she did not like this song when she first heard a demo done by the lady who composed it and recorded it at home. She was reluctant to sing it & her [worship?] Pastor told her to listen to the song again ... and then she obediently sang it in church ... which is when she realized the power of the song. He has dug himself spiritually deep into my heart however I can't shake the thought that I will not be going where He resides after this life. I am complacent with that. feeling guilty, i realized, is still a play on the ego, on the self. feeling guilty still assumes there is something otherwise you could have done that would have won you more favor with God. there is nothing. a simple real world example. you know those people who wrong you and instead of straight up apologizing, they ruin the apology by sort of trying to win pity from you, or expressing how the wrong thing they did affected THEM. like you'll hear someone say, 'am so sorry, i felt so gulty i couldnt eat'. then you have to forgive them otherwise theyll starve lol.

Joe Lawson this song is literally the word of God in song hence the title revelation song. the word of God is powerful and alive. The feeling you feel is God asking for a relationship with you. If you are interested the answer of course is in the bible. Jesus told Peter that he would give him the keys to the kingdom. (in order to enter the kingdom must be through Peters sermon) even Angels cannot give the message of salvation as we read in acts the angel sent Cornelius to Peter. So what did peter teach? we Go to the acts the church was formed and a group of individuals accused the 120 of being drunk but peter stood up and said no this is Jesus whom you crucified. The people was convicted and asked peter how can we be saved. peter answered (the keys) and unlocked the gate to the kingdom in acts 2:38 peter answered the question. It's important to note that ALL apostles including Paul followed acts 2:38 mary,peter,all of them! be weary of anyone sending you to anyone else for the salvation plan. Paul even warned that angels cannot offer salvation plan. everyone must go through teaching of peter if not Jesus is a liar. hope this helps God bless you richly
