I have a Bullet 500 and an Interceptor 650. The Flying flea could find space in my garage . Think it would be ideal to zip around in town.

The styling of the Flea has a touch of Art Nouveau about it. I really like it and depending on specs would be interested as a possible future purchase.

Keep at it Alf.. ahead of the curve on utube.. My expiration date is slowly approaching (70). Im not keen on electric motorcycles. Maybe for the future generations. Its an inevitability. But I'd rether have a few pistions pounding out their tune between my legs. Shiny side up 👍

Very good design. Hoping for rear rack as on option, to complete the look and functionality of the WW2 bike

This is a great replacement for my bicycle but not my motorcycles. I need a 160mile range at motorway speed with luggage, rapid charging, ADV size, and £10-15k price tag to consider replacing my motorcycles…

...AND a springer front end! Are they (Bijaj, et al) gonna supplant Harley as the new "Harley?"

"What it has to do" is carry my work gear or shopping in a secure manner. My little Brompton bicycle does this quite well. Why spend the money for a motorcycle that can't even match a bicycle for cargo capacity? I don't see a rear subframe to attach any rack to. I had heard that the RE e-moto would be based on the Himalayan, which would have ticked that box. Too bad.

I'm sorry. It doesn't do anything for me. I'm sticking with my RE Classic 350 signals: Best looking, most fun. Have been hanging out for the Classic 650 but it hasn't grabbed me as much as the 350. Also at 32 km/l I think I'm doing my bit to reduce ghg emissions!

You going to park this thing in your garage .I remember reading about a Harley Livewire scheduled for sevice and the Dealer wouldn't let him park it inside the building overnight . If you drop it in a parking lot , no visual damage would you think twice about parking it overnight charging in the garage connected to your home ? Buy yourself a nice Vespa and if you want to take a nice weekend ride with no range anxiety go for it . gziatygziaty

Sorry, Alf... as I've said many times over, my motorcycles need to have a motor. Not interested, thank you. marcus

It does have a motor, though. Our traditional vehicles can be called Enginecycles. 😀😉
@markh.harris92719 күн бұрын
@amitpatilamit , no. English isn't that flexible. The word motorcycle implies (in fact, demands) an internal combustion engine (ICE). As you've noted, it's traditional. An EV is an electric vehicle, and an electric motorcycle is an EV. The point being (if only pedantic) is that the world electric must be included. A two-wheeled EV must never be called a motorcycle without the qualifier "electric". To put a fine point on my pedantic position, if a shop advertises motorcycles, and I find out they are all electric bikes, they are being sued for false advertising, especially of they are a Harley dealership. In fact, an electric motorcycle should be referred to as a scooter or electric bike. Failing to use the qualifier "electric" is always misleading when describing an EV, which does does not have an actual motor (and internal combustion engine). Also, if a person has an EV with two wheels and claims to be a motorcyclist or biker, they are by definition a wuss. 😁 marcus

@markh.harris9271 I was just kidding, man. 😀 RE is also aware of this, which is why they created a separate sub-brand "flying flea" with a distinctively different logo. All their EVs will be under this umbrella only. None will carry our beloved original RE badging. 🙂

It's for city use bro... 😂This bike is a must for city traffic of India.... You need to understand, people in India use motorcycles for daily commute to work... That's the reason RE won't fully go EV... All the EV bikes they showed are basically for short usage...

Not for me I’m afraid. I own three beautiful RE bikes at the moment. Back in the early 1980’s I owned a 1934 RE. These battery powered toys , cars & bikes , a.k.a “ electric vehicles “ don’t do anything for me. I won’t get on my high horse about this B.S, I will just say a big No Thank you.
