I like the led driving the fibres and great scratch on the headliner. Headlights, sleeper and bumper lights too, wow. Clearly Revell didn’t plan for some nut to wire this kit up with all those small parts . Good progress, this will look fantastic. Scott

You may want to consider smd lights. They are much smaller, easier to install than led's and they're brigher.. I'll explain and show on my KZbin channel. I'm installing lights to my 1/16 scale build to. You also may have rough draft a wire diagram to determine how and were to place your wires and resistors. Nice work so far... I'm not working myself, I'm retired

It is a combination of LEDs , already got smds in it, the only conventional led I am using is for the fiber optics

Great work those powders do they dry? cos i was gonna say put some Tamiya clear gloss (x20 I think) over the chrome possibly give it a better look (not that yours is not far from it!) I do that to my silver AK interactive metallic silver and the finish is tremendous 2-3 days between coats though... just saying!

Cool build. I built this truck back in 1986, just finished a 16th Kenworth. I really like the headliner. Would you make a couple to sell? May be interested in a couple of them.

I just binned the paper template as I'm only building one lol I just took paper and drew round the folds and cut it out to fit then cut the plasticard out

@@SmoosWorkshop ok l can try that

you will find there are 4 small steps in the roof, this is what i designed the roof lining to sit on so make your paper slightly oversize then cut plasticard to suit then fettle it with a sander, you will notice the big blob of white tack on the roof lining, I found after making an almost perfect template, I couldn't get the bugger back out!...lol so the white tack helps this :)

although I could theoretically draw around my plastic headliner...lol, you are probably in the USA though and I am not currently working so postage could be prohibitive :(
