Here is my review of the Revell 1/142th Northsea Fishing Trawler, after the success of the Harbour tug boat I thought it would be great fun to have a go at the another one of Revells Boats.

It straight away looks like a better casting than the tug boat. The model is spread out over 4 main sprues of parts with a set of decals and some rigging thread.

The cost of this one is around £15 and for that, you get a good-sized model and it looks like it is going to produce quite a nice finished.

I remember listening to Radio Caroline back in the 60s. I had no idea they were on a trawler. I have this kit too. Half built. I was born and grew up in Lowestoft so this is a bit of me. My grandad & uncle were both shipwrights in the town and worked on these classic ships.

Hello Mate….this is just perfect! Because I want to buy this and make it resemble the Radio Caroline offshore music boat ‘Ross Revenge’. All it needs really is a transmitter mast which I don’t seem to be able to find anywhere🤷🏻. I plan to place it in blue foam then imitate the sea surface as shown in some KZbin videos. Thanks so much.
