But seriously Nige, what Revell leaves out the instructions, but still deliver the parts, this is a kit that you can build in every livery. With some bashing around with some paint, you can even deck it out as a civilian JetRanger! Now, excuse me, where is me credit card.

Great review. I couldn't help noticing you mentioned the sprue felt a bit greasy. In my experience all revell kits feel greasy and need washing in not to warm soapy water and a good rinse and left to dry or use a hair dryer . The one time I forgot to wash soon became apparent because the paint just ran off.

I built the Academy version last Easter in the "Thugs" marking, it went together nicely, however the front cockpit glazing was a very poor fit and left a huge gap between the left front door frame, so watch out for that Nige.

I flew the earlier versions (A & C) and we NEVER called them "Kiowa's"...we called them "58's" or called them by the last three of their tail/serial number as in "I'm taking 986 out...has a circle-redX I want to check out".

I got the Revell 1/32 Bf110. Open the box and every sprue has a Dragon on it as it’s a rebox of the good Dragon 110. Cost under £40

I reviewed that a while back Mark. Trouble is with that one is Revell moulded it I think? My Dragon kit is far better than the Revell.

Watching it yesterday afternoon when it stopped playing, their helicopters are always pretty good with full interiors at this scale. Made their EC-135 in ambulance fit out a few years back. KFOR stands for Kosovo FORce - the NATO reaction to the Balkan war.

I just found that kit on a shelf in TK Maxx for £12.00 ,what a bargain. .£12.00 I couldnt believe it ,I asked if they had more as would have bought the lot but unfortunately there was only the one.

i have the academy version, it is an all black version, very nice kit,a weekend build.

2 of the nicest, most enjoyable builds I have done were Revell boxing of Hasegawa kits - 1:32 Storch and 1:48 JU88 Nightfighter [given to me by my Da's mate when he found out I had got into the hobby during lockdown]. So Nigel is right, DEFINITELY worth checking box/scalemates. What we [well, I] REALLY need is a new 1:35 Vietnam-era Cayuse. I've got the ancient Dragon one, and it's alright...but hanging on starting it waiting for something better.

Nice little kit, sharp details for that old kit and for great money value. Seen you uploaded it before in the evening but was unavailable so KZbin played games again? In my "Humbrol Paint Converter" software (great tool for almost nothing) Revell 65 color is referenced as either of Tamiya XF11, XF13, XF26, XF58, XF61 or XF 65 so there is required further research for right shade i think.

curious point to ask about: is Revell re-labeling kits as 1/35 from previous 1/32 because it's the new go - to thing? Just wondering.. old kit comparison may tell us the truth. Thanks, Dane

No Dane, revell are not mis quoting the scale. It is 1/35.
