Revell's 1/96 scale USS Constitution & United States

A quick review of the Revell 1/96th scale USS Constitution & United States Frigate kits. Both kits are nearly the same with just a few part differences which we will look at.

Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting. My answer to that is yes and no. The stigma Behind These kits is that they are going to take a year to build and easily they could. However I don't have a year I just have a couple of months so I'm going to be doing a piece coming up in a few weeks on how I built three of them for a project I'm doing. Now mind you I'm not doing all of the rigging on them if I choose to do that someday then yes that will probably take a year each individual one! LOL that's always been my problem with these in the past is I would start building one and would quickly become overwhelmed in what was to come instead of just taking it one bite at a time which is how you would eat an elephant. Stay tuned I think you're going to like what we do with these.

I see you have a wiener dog! Good man. I think I hear him barking in one part of the video. These are great old sailing ship kits, and so are the other 1/96 scale ships like the Cutty Sark, the Thermopylae, the Alabama, and the Kearsarge.

Thank you for watching and thank you for commenting! Yes I absolutely love wiener dogs, and pretty much dogs in general. Unfortunately, my little Harold passed away after 14 good years with me this last fall. He was a wonderful friend and comforter. I am looking at a husky Shepherd mix this week but, I'm always on the lookout for a dachshund that will fit into our family unit.

I'm starting to find out more and more about those early Revell ships and I've been very excited to discover the Spanish galleon late last year. There's going to be some fun builds coming up.

@@maddogmerv6743 - We had a long series of Dachshunds in my family, and I remember them all with great affection. Wonderful little guys!
