Could be your base/balance/footwork. Practice your shot from close with consistent balance and footwork then move out

@@mate2nice that's good advice but a teammate of my mine helped with my jumpshot, I didn't lower my arc I added more push/flick to my shot which lowered my arc a little but kept it nice and high

its funny i just came back from practice and I will air ball from time to time, because my arc was so high i was shooting straight up...i need to lower my arc or else the ball wouldnt be travelling forward.

Reps. Dribble so fast you're losing the ball constantly until you're eventually not losing the ball. Control is significantly more important than speed though.

A lower arch is actually more accurate. Most of the great shooters throughout history have less arch in their shots. Watch videos of people like Rick Mount, Jamaal Wilkes, Caitlin Clark, and Pistol Pete Maravich. All flatter shots with some english on the ball.
