Thank you for watching! Unfortunately due to HIPAA, it is very difficult to do screen sharing with these workflows. I also do not have any environments which to demonstrate. Even if I did and used a “test” environment, it would still not work without using real world, live examples. I suggest playing around in the payer portals, if you have access, to learn all the functions and capabilities they offer. Good luck!

Can you name some of the famous portals where you can check patients eligibility ?

Usually you check in the actual portal for the insurance company or your clearinghouse may also offer the feature. Availity is probably the most well-known, but you do need to be participating with the insurances to get access through that portal. Thank you for watching!

We do not register patients based on the name at Insurance. Patient should be registered with legal name, state or federal ID.

You may run into the insurance denying claims if the name on the claim does not match their system, especially with Medicare. It happens all the time so I would definitely watch that.
