I realise that phasers and flangers are cousins, but given the eclectic nature of this particular pedal, I was gobsmacked by the gorgeous flanges that came out of this little piece of kit. Thank you to Andy, who either has a huge team of support personnel or, more likely, spends a lot of time in preparation for these vids … We all benefit greatly from your dedication to your work and your craft - very unique, my friend. Please, keep it up. 🎸👨🏼⚕️🎸. 🫶✌️♾️.

Really like your intro jam! Is that based on a song I don't recognize or did you make it up? I keep watching the demo to hear it.

It's an Andy original. I oughta know, I played the drums on it. (;

Andy, love your demos all the way back from pro guitar shop days. Would love to hear you demo of doom sounding rig with overdrive, fuzz and phase with you trusty orange in the background. Thanks buddy.

Great sounding versatile pedal, and as always a top reveiw. All analogue signal path? I dont doubt you for one minute. Was I hearing some crackling digital clipping distortion early on in the demo. For instance 3.03 - 3.09 and 4.34 secs. Was it recording techniques?
@AndyDemos Жыл бұрын
Thanks! That's just a tube amp doing it's breakup thing from the wide sweeping phaser with high output. I've been recording these things for quite a few years, I won't allow the mic signals to clip.
@stuartchapman5171 Жыл бұрын
@AndyDemos thanks for the tech feedback. I know your vids and you're deservedly well respected. I wouldn't expect anything else. I was listening with headphones on my fone, that along with the KZbin compression it sounded a bit off. Thanks for clearing that up. I use pedals for non guitar sound design and I do find some of the cheaper pedals have this problem, with the hotter signals, especially reverb and delay.
@AndyDemos Жыл бұрын
I see what you're saying, I generally play amps at a level loud enough to be heard in a band situation, which means it's very easy for the amp to distort (in this case a high output phaser sweeping into ultra high and low freqs). For your application, it's not generally because pedals are cheap, it's whether they are designed for instrument or line level. I'd reach out to All-Pedal for an accurate answer but the Microdose seems to have a lot of headroom for non-guitar signals. Good luck! @@stuartchapman5171
